This proposal outlines the comprehensive plan and clear rationale for organizing an "English Festival" at Van Lang School. Our primary objective is to establish a vibrant, fun, and highly supportive learning environment that encourages all students to actively practice and improve their English language proficiency in a stimulating, low-pressure setting. We envision this festival as a core extracurricular event that will significantly foster the community of English enthusiasts within the institution. The event is scheduled to take place on 25 November, from 7:00am to 15:00pm, utilizing the School Yard, Main Hall, and designated classrooms. The festival will feature a diverse range of activities, to allow students to articulate their views on various social topics, engaging games focused on vocabulary and grammar, showcasing the traditions and cuisine of English-speaking nations, lively show such as short plays and songs, a corner of “Free talk” for informal, spontaneous communication with teachers and guests. The festival aims to achieve several critical outcomes: most notably, to provide an open venue for practical English communication, boost student motivation and passion for the subject, and expand participants' cultural knowledge. The benefits of this project are substantial: for students, it directly improves their listening and speaking skills and builds confidence; for the institution, it reinforces the school’s commitment to quality foreign language education and offers a highly effective, enjoyable way to reinforce the formal curriculum. We firmly believe that the proposed is a practical and highly beneficial activity that will inject enthusiasm and real-world application into our language program. We respectfully urge the School Management Board consider and approve this proposal at your earliest convenience, thereby allowing us to proceed with the necessary preparations to ensure a highly successful and memorable event.

In today’s digital world, teenagers spend a large part of their day on phones, computers, and televisions. I strongly believe that limiting teenagers’ screen time is necessary for their health and development. Firstly, too much screen use can harm both physical and mental health. Staring at screens for hours can cause eye strain, headaches, and poor sleep. Moreover, excessive time online often leads to anxiety, loneliness, and even addiction, especially when teenagers compare themselves to others on social media. Secondly, reducing screen time helps teenagers focus on more meaningful activities such as studying, exercising, or spending time with family and friends. These activities improve their communication skills and strengthen relationships in real life. In conclusion, setting limits on screen time is essential. It teaches teenagers self-control and encourages a balanced lifestyle, which is vital for their future well-being and success.

-những điều bé nhỏ nhất trong cuộc sống là một tiền đề để phát triển một xã hội lành mạnh. Người khác nếu được sự giúp đỡ khi hoàn cảnh của người đó quá khó khăn thì họ cảm thấy hảnh phúc vì nhận được tấm lòng ấy của bạn .Những người cảm thấy hạnh phúc luôn lạc quan vì thế mọi người sẽ luôn yêu quý bạn, sự hoạt bát và niềm vui của bạn cũng là động lực giúp người khác. Không chỉ với người khác,bản thân mỗi chúng ta nếu lúc nòa cũng vui vẻ và lạc quan thì cho dù cuộc sống có khó khăn trở ngại như nào đi chăng nữa thì bạn cũng sẽ vượt qua nhờ sự hạnh phúc đã làm giảm những khó khăn ấy. Do đó mỗi chúng ta cần biết yêu thương người khác để họ cảm thấy hạnh phúc khi họ rơi vào tuyệt vọng trong cuộc đời họ quá khó khăn.
