Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to apply for a part-time receptionist, which you advertised on your website on 11 July. I believe having a part-time job is a great opportunity to learn valuable skills.

I am in my final year of high school. I have some experience in this job before. Last summer, I worked at a hotel as a receptionist. My duties included welcoming guests, making and confirming guest bookings. I also answered incoming calls and managed reservations to make sure the customers were satisfied with their services.

I am friendly, sociable and hard-working. I can also speak English, so I can wait on foreign customers.

I would be delighted to meet you in person to discuss my application.

I am available for an interview on weekdays.

If my application is successful, I will be able to start work after 31 July.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours faithfull

In recent years, festivals such as Christmas and Halloween have become increasingly popular among young Vietnamese people. While some people worry that this trend may negatively affect traditional culture, I believe it has more positive than negative impacts.

Firstly, celebrating foreign festivals provides young people with opportunities to learn about other cultures. In a globalized world, understanding and respecting diversity is an important skill. Activities like dressing up for Halloween or exchanging gifts at Christmas help young people connect with international traditions in a fun and engaging way.

Secondly, these celebrations encourage creativity and social interaction. For example, Halloween allows students to design costumes, while Christmas brings families and friends together to share joy. These experiences strengthen bonds among individuals and communities.

Of course, there is a concern that local festivals might be overshadowed. However, this risk can be avoided if schools and families also promote Vietnamese traditions, such as Tet or Mid-Autumn Festival. Rather than replacing them, foreign festivals can exist alongside local ones.

In conclusion, I think celebrating Christmas and Halloween in Vietnam is not harmful. On the contrary, it enriches cultural life and helps young people become more open-minded
