Walt Disney is famous around the world for creating some of the most beloved animated characters and films in history. He changed the entertainment industry with his creativity and imagination. Walt Disney was born on December 5, 1901, in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He grew up in a large family and loved drawing from a young age. He attended McKinley High School in Chicago, where he studied art and photography. Later, he took evening courses at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts Walt Disney was a very successful filmmaker who created the world-famous character Mickey Mouse in 1928. He also produced many classic animated films such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella, and The Lion King. Apart from making films, he was also famous for building Disneyland and Walt Disney World, the first theme parks of their kind. He had four brothers and one sister. He married Lillian Bounds and had two daughters. Walt Disney died in 1966 in California, but his company continues to grow and inspire millions of people around the world.
