My favorite hobby is reading books. I started this hobby when I was about ten years old. At first, I read short stories for children, but now I enjoy many kinds of books, such as novels and science books. I usually read by myself because I like the quiet time it gives me, but sometimes I discuss interesting stories with my friends. I often read in my bedroom or in the library in the evening after finishing my homework. I think reading is a wonderful hobby because it helps me relax, learn new things, and improve my vocabulary. Books open up a whole new world for me!
