Walt Disney is famous around the world for creating Mickey Mouse and building one of the most successful entertainment empires in history. He was born on December 5, 1901, in Chicago, Illinois, USA. During his childhood, Walt showed a strong interest in drawing and storytelling. He attended McKinley High School in Chicago, where he studied art, and later took evening classes at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts.

Walt Disney was a very successful filmmaker who created many beloved cartoon characters such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy. His first feature-length animated film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, became a huge success. Apart from making films, he was also famous for creating Disneyland, the world’s first theme park, which opened in 1955.

He had four brothers and one sister, and later became a loving father to two daughters.

Walt Disney died on December 15, 1966, but his spirit of creativity and imagination lives on. Today, The Walt Disney Studios continues to produce films and bring joy to millions of people around the world.
