Subject: Threats to Tigers and Solutions for Conservation
Date: 17/3/2025
Introduction :
This report describes the threats facing tigers, one of the most endangered animals in the world, and suggests some solutions to protect them from extinction.
Threats :
Research has shown that habitat loss is one of the biggest threats to tigers. Deforestation for agriculture, urban development, and illegal logging has destroyed much of their natural habitat, leaving them with limited space to hunt and survive.
Another serious threat is poaching. Tigers are hunted for their skin, bones, and other body parts, which are used in traditional medicine and sold on the black market. Despite strict laws, illegal wildlife trade remains a major problem.
Solutions :
One solution is to strengthen anti-poaching laws and increase penalties for those involved in illegal hunting and trading of tigers.
Second, it is important to protect and restore tiger habitats by enforcing forest conservation policies and promoting sustainable land use practices.
In addition, we should raise public awareness about tiger conservation through education campaigns and community involvement. Encouraging local communities to participate in conservation efforts can make a significant impact.
Conclusion :
In conclusion, tigers face severe threats, including habitat loss and poaching. Therefore, we recommend stronger law enforcement, habitat protection, and increased public awareness to ensure the survival of these magnificent animals.
