Overall, television was the most popular source for all age groups. It was chosen by 42 per cent of old people, and more than one third of teenagers and young adults. Meanwhile, the Internet source emerged as a strong contender for younger audiences. While only 6 per cent of old people rely on the internet for news, this number jumps to 33 per cent for young adults and a surprising 52 per cent for teenagers. By contrast, printed newspapers were the sencond choice of news source for old people with 29 percent, while only 7 per cent for teenagers and 6 per cent or young adults. Young adults and old people relied on "other" sources for news around a quarter, while teenagers only had 4 per cent.

Today, many young Vietnamese people enjoy celebrating foreign festivals such as Christmas and Halloween. Some are worried about the influence of foreign cultures, but I believe this trend is mostly positive.

Firstly, joining these events allows young people to learn more about different traditions. Through Christmas or Halloween, they become more open-minded and understand global culture better. Moreover, these occasions are fun and give them chances to meet friends, relax, and share joyful moments.

Of course, some people fear that Vietnamese traditions may be forgotten. However, this is unlikely. Young people still value Tet and the Mid-Autumn Festival because these events are deeply connected to family and national identity. Foreign festivals are just an addition, not a replacement.

In conclusion, celebrating international festivals should be seen as cultural exchange. As long as we continue to honor our own traditions, enjoying Christmas or Halloween brings more benefits than harm.
