Walt Disney is famous around the world for creating some of the most beloved characters and films in animation history. He is best known as the creator of Mickey Mouse, a character that became a global icon of joy and imagination.

He was born on December 5, 1901, in Chicago, Illinois. During his childhood, Disney developed a love for drawing and storytelling. He attended McKinley High School in Chicago and later studied art at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts.

Walt Disney was a visionary filmmaker who created the first full-length animated feature film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, in 1937. He went on to produce many classic animated films, including Cinderella, Peter Pan, and The Lion King. Apart from films, he was also known for building Disneyland, the world’s first modern theme park.

Disney had four brothers and one sister. He married Lillian Bounds and had two daughters.

He died on December 15, 1966, but The Walt Disney Studios continues to thrive, inspiring generations with its magic, creativity, and storytelling legacy.
