Walt Disney is famous all over the world because he created Mickey Mouse and many other cartoon characters. He also founded one of the most successful film studios in history. He was born in Chicago, the United States, in 1901. When he was a child, his family moved to Missouri. He loved drawing very much and often practiced art in his free time. Later, he studied at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts. Walt Disney became a talented filmmaker and animator. In 1928, he created Mickey Mouse, which soon became a symbol of joy and childhood. He also created Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto. In 1955, he opened Disneyland, the first theme park of its kind, which has attracted millions of visitors. He had four siblings. He married Lillian Bounds and they had two daughters. Disney died in 1966, but The Walt Disney Company continues to produce films, build theme parks, and bring happiness to people all over the world.
