Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to enquire about the tour guide training courses at SGV Vocational School, as advertised recently. I am very interested in traveling and exploring different cultures, and I would like to have more information before applying.
First, I would like to know if I need to take a placement test or an entrance exam to join the course. Although the advert mentions that no qualifications are needed, I wonder if there is a minimum level of English required. In addition, I would appreciate it if you could tell me how much the tuition fees are and if there are any discounts for students in difficult financial situations.
Finally, it would be great if you could provide more details regarding the apprenticeship. Specifically, I would like to know how long the training lasts and how much the daily wage is during the apprenticeship period.
Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to receiving your reply soon.
Yours faithfully,
Minh
Nowadays, many teenagers spend a lot of time using electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, and computers. Some people think that parents should strictly limit their children’s screen time, while others disagree. In my opinion, parents should limit teenagers’ screen time for several reasons.
Firstly, too much screen time can affect teenagers’ academic performance. Many students spend hours watching online videos, checking social media, or playing computer games. As a result, they have little time left to do their homework or revise for exams. This can lead to lower grades and poor study habits in the long run.
Secondly, too much screen time is harmful to teenagers’ health. Spending too much time in front of a screen can damage their eyesight, reduce their sleep time, and even cause weight gain due to a lack of physical activity. These problems can affect their overall well-being and daily life.
Of course, some people argue that the quality of screen time is more important than the amount. Teenagers can learn useful knowledge and skills through online educational games and videos. However, if they are not supervised, they may spend most of their time on entertainment instead of learning.
In conclusion, although technology can be beneficial, parents should still strictly limit teenagers’ screen time to protect their health and support their studies. With proper guidance, teenagers can use technology wisely and balance it with other important activities
