Nowadays, more and more young Vietnamese people celebrate festivals such as Christmas and Halloween. In my opinion, this has a positive impact on young Vietnamese people.
Firstly, these festivals give young people a chance to relax and enjoy life. After months of hard work and study, participating in Christmas or Halloween activities such as decorating, exchanging gifts, or dressing up in costumes helps them reduce stress and bring joy to their lives.
Secondly, celebrating foreign festivals allows young Vietnamese people to broaden their horizons. By learning about the origins and traditions of these events, they become more open-minded and respectful towards other cultures. This is important in today’s world of globalization where international understanding is highly valued.
Finally, these celebrations can strengthen social bonds. Friends and families often gather together to join in the fun, take photos, or organize parties. Such moments of sharing create happy memories and improve relationships among people.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that celebrating foreign festivals like Christmas and Halloween brings more benefits than drawbacks. It enriches young people’s spiritual lives, promotes cultural exchange, and helps build stronger connections in society.
