Nowadays, many young Vietnamese people enjoy celebrating foreign festivals like Christmas and Halloween. Some welcome this trend, while others worry it may harm Vietnamese traditions. In my opinion, celebrating these events is fine as long as we keep our cultural balance.These festivals bring fun, creativity, and a chance to learn about other cultures. They also help people connect and make life more exciting. However, if young people focus too much on foreign celebrations, they might forget traditional ones such as Tet or Mid-Autumn Festival. This could make our national culture weaker over time.In conclusion, it is good to enjoy foreign festivals, but we should not ignore our own traditions. By respecting both, young people can be modern while still keeping their Vietnamese identity.
