The roads used to be muddy, but now they are fully paved with concrete, making it the perfect racetrack for local grandmas riding their electric bicycles at 5 km/h.

But the real "celebrities" of Bai Thuong are the animals. Forget about quiet, romantic country mornings; our alarm clock is a choir of roosters trying to out-scream each other at 4:30 AM.
