Introduction:
The issue of wasting electricity and water in our school's restrooms has become a noticeable problem. Students and staff often leave lights on and water running after use, which not only increases the school's utility costs but also reflects a lack of environmental awareness. This report aims to identify the causes of this issue and propose practical solutions.
Causes:
The primary causes are a lack of awareness and a habit of carelessness. Many students do not realize the impact of their actions on the environment and the school's budget. Additionally, there is a lack of clear reminders or supervision to encourage responsible behavior. The current infrastructure, which relies on manual switches and taps, also contributes to the problem.
Solutions:
To address this, we propose a three-step approach. First, an awareness campaign should be launched through school announcements and posters placed in restrooms, reminding everyone to conserve resources. Second, the school should consider installing automatic sensors for lights and motion-activated faucets. This would ensure that lights and water are only used when needed. Third, we can organize a "Green Team" of students to monitor and report any wastage, fostering a sense of community responsibility.

By implementing these solutions, we can significantly reduce the waste of electricity and water in our school.
