Many parents drive their children to and from school daily, leading to traffic jams, noise, and air pollution at the school gate. This problem affects the environment, student safety, and the overall school atmosphere.
To solve this issue, schools can encourage walking or cycling by launching a “Walk-to-School” campaign. Students living nearby can form walking groups with adult supervision. For those who live farther away, the school could organize a carpool system so fewer cars are used. This would reduce both traffic and pollution.
Another solution is to set up a designated drop-off and pick-up zone away from the school entrance. This would reduce congestion and make the school gate area safer and quieter.
These actions would help improve air quality, reduce noise, and promote a healthier lifestyle for students. They also teach children the importance of caring for the environment. With cooperation from schools, parents, and local authorities, this problem can be greatly reduced.
