Kien Giang, where I have been living, is my hometown. It is a wonderful place for me. Streets are not crowded. There are not many factories here but you will be surprised with large and green fields. So, the air here is very fresh, peaceful and good for your health. The people in my howetown are friendly and funny.They are willing to help you if necessary. It is really safe for visitors when they come here. When you are sad or bored, you can go for a walk along the fields or sit at the quiet and cool parks along the river. They are really wonderful places for you. In addition, Rach Gia is a beautiful city. There are large and beautiful parks, villas, trees along the streets and the rivers, and the beach with many nice cafes and restaurants, where I often go to with my friends. Furthermore, Phu Quoc is a place where the seafood is cheap and fresh. I love seafood a lot. There are many good restaurants where you can enjoy the seafood with a reasonable price. Besides, you can pay a visit to other interesting places such as Ha Tien, Hon Dat…..The special foods of my hometown are dog meat and the Canal-5 Wine. They are very delicious and you can’t miss them. In conclusion, I love my hometown, Kien Giang. It’s because Kien Giang is a wonderful place to live. It is peaceful, beautiful, and friendly. And it has cheap and fresh seafood. If you can, please come to see my hometown, you are welcome.

My favorite subject is Math, but people rarely believe that there is a student who actually loves Math. This is a quite easy subject at primary level, but I have to admit that it gets harder and harder through time. I had a struggling period with it before I could find the motivation and interest to study. I find it is not only useful, but it is like puzzles that I can find the joy once I solve them. Some students say that they cannot find any use of quadratic equation or complicated formulas in reality, but Math actually appears in many aspects in our life. It helps calculate and bring out the exact results, and we cannot construct anything without calculate the figures, or the amount of materials or the whole are. Besides, it also an useful assistant for some other subjects such as Physics and Chemical, and it helps us develop our logical thought. We can think faster and have better reaction with numbers thanks to Math. Whenever I go to the markets with my mom, I always help her to check whether the sellers take the right or wrong amount of money as well as the change. I meet it both in school and in my real life, so there is no wonder why I find it really necessary. In conclusion, I think Math is not just simply a subject that challenges the students, but it can actually help us in our daily life. I am so lucky to find this subject enjoyable, and I will always find joy in studying it.

My grandmother often shared stories of how she rode the rails back in the 60's as this was the most common way to travel back then. This trip gave me the opportunity to share my story with her as well. This trip brought my family closer. I will never forget it.

I am a student, so every summer, I usually come back to my country. Last summer is my most memorable one . I had studied at university in Ho Chi Minh City for four years but I had not met my old friend for a long time. I missed them very much so I decided to organize a party to meet my friend. It was wonderful. Most of them attended the party. We talked about the memories which we spent together. I told them about my dream, about troubles and happiness. I have a bestfiend and also a neighborhood whoes name is Tuan. His age is the same as mine but he looks like older than me. Because he’s very tall and thin, everybody calls him “a palm”. Tuan has a short curly hair and beautiful chestnut brown eyes that appeal of many girls. He is a person of very few words that makes him to be a good listener. Anyone, who has ever contacted with Tuan, thinks about him as a glacial boy. In fact he’s really warm and nice. He’s willing to help people whenever possible. When I was in secondary school, I found Math was very difficult to understand but Tuan solved the Math problems so fast. He spent all seven nights of weeks to help me in Math while he could go out to relax. Tuan was a good all-rounder exception English. Most of the teachers in school and parents highly appreaciated his talent. Only a month ago, he received two full scholarships from America Government to study oversea but he has not yet decided whether he should go or not. Although he has not spent much time to take part in sport activities, he is a well football player. We were in Ha Noi Young Football Team when we were in grade 10. Everything seems perfect to my bestfriend but he’s very modest and always talks to himself to give more effort. I’m proud of Tuan and pray for the good things beside him forever.

The name of my best friend is Jyoti. She is my good friend and cares for me a lot. She behaves me well and helps always. I met her in class 6 and became best friend. She is my true friend because she understands me very well and cares for my every need. I like her very much. I never had any friend like her ever before. She comes to my home and I too go to her home. Our parents respects us very much and like our friendship. She is so precious for me and I never want to lose her. Whenever I get absent in the classroom, she helps me in doing all the left home works and class works.

She is much similar to me in many aspects. She never argues me and describes me well anything which I get stuck. She is an open minded girl and never feels bad for my misbehave. She is very entertaining in nature and makes me laugh through her interesting jokes and talks in the spare time. She is very cute and attractive, attracts everyone through her smile and nice way of talk. She promotes me always to do better in the classroom and exams. We are good in sports and academic activities. She takes my opinions in her every tough work to do in the right way. We manage to share things in our difficult times. We always perform better in the class tests and main exams.

All of us want to have good health because we cannot buy health even we are rich. In my opinion, health is the better than wealth because if we were in good health, but not rich, we could do what we want, we could do hard work and serve ourselves in daily activies. Moreover, we could help others, bring happiness to them. With good health, we could interesting. Otherwise, if we were rich but not healthy, we would depend on others because we could not serveourselves in daily life, become other’sload, we are easy to be angry or bored with everything. In summary, healthis better than wealth.

Although the city has modern vehicles, it make air pollution. It is a significant contributor to the degration of life quality.
