Opinion Essay: Restoring Local Ecosystems Today, many people argue that we should spend more money on restoring local ecosystems to combat environmental degradation. From my point of view, investing in the restoration of our natural surroundings is absolutely essential for a sustainable future. Firstly, the most important reason why we should prioritize this spending is that local ecosystems provide vital services that sustain human life. For instance, healthy wetlands and forests act as natural filters for our water and air, which directly impacts our public health. Without these natural systems, the cost of artificial filtration and healthcare would far exceed the investment in restoration. Secondly, we should fund these projects because human activities like urban sprawl and pollution have caused significant habitat loss. That is why we must take responsibility to repair the damage. Finally, the neglect of these areas has led to a decrease in biodiversity, which affected the stability of our local food chains. Restoring habitats allows native species to thrive again, ensuring a balanced environment. In conclusion, I firmly believe that while it requires significant financial resources, it is essential to invest in our local ecosystems. Protecting nature is, ultimately, protecting ourselves. Today, many people argue that we should spend more money on restoring local ecosystems. From my point of view, people should prioritize restoring local ecosystems as it is crucial for the survival of our planet.

Firstly, the most important reason why we should restore local ecosystems is that they provide numerous benefits to both humans and animals. Ecosystems provide clean air, water, and food which are necessary for our survival. Without healthy ecosystems, we will face numerous problems such as air and water pollution, food scarcity, and natural disasters.

Secondly, we should invest in restoring local ecosystems because human activities such as deforestation and pollution have caused serious harm to our planet. These activities have led to the loss of biodiversity, soil erosion, and climate change. By restoring local ecosystems, we can help reverse some of these negative effects and preserve our planet for future generations.

Finally, neglecting the restoration of local ecosystems has led to the extinction of many species and the loss of habitats for others. It has also affected the lives and livelihoods of people who depend on natural resources for their survival.

In conclusion, I firmly believe that we should invest more money in restoring local ecosystems. It is essential for the survival of our planet, and it will provide numerous benefits to both humans and animals. By doing so, we can create a sustainable future for ourselves and the generations to come.

Dear Ann,

I’m very happy to know that you’ll be staying with my family for two months. We live in a four-bedroom flat on the 15th floor. You will have your own bedroom during your stay here.

You asked me about our family rules. There are three important ones that we must follow.

One important rule in my family is that we should visit our grandparents once a week. My parents want us to help a close relationship with our grandparents by visiting them regularly and making sure that they are not lonely.

Another important rule is that every member of the family has to keep his or her room tidy. My sister and I have to make our beds every morning, and clean the floor and windows twice a week.

The third important rule is that my sister and I must be home before 10 p.m. My parents are very strict and believe that setting a curfew will help us to become responsible, and stay safe and healthy.

If you have any questions, please let me know. We will try our best to make you feel comfortable during your stay with us.

Looking forward to meeting you.

Best wishes,

      Lan

I once visited a city where the air was not very clean. The sky was not blue, but instead, it looked a bit gray. There was a lot of dust and tiny particles in the air, making it difficult to see far away.

I could feel the pollution in the air, and it made me cough a little. The smell was not fresh like in a park, but more like something not very pleasant. People were wearing masks to protect themselves from breathing in the dirty air.

It was a bit sad because I like places with clean air, and I could tell that the pollution was not good for the environment. I hope that in the future, we can find ways to make the air cleaner for everyone to enjoy.
