Dear [recipient],

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to discuss the impact of tourist destinations on the local environment and community. While tourism can bring economic benefits to a region, it can also have negative consequences on the environment and local culture. Some of these negative impacts include increased pollution, degradation of natural resources, and strain on infrastructure, which can lead to over-tourism and loss of authenticity in a destination.

However, it's important to note that tourism can also bring positive impacts to a region, such as job creation and generation of revenue, which can support community development and preservation of cultural heritage. In addition, responsible tourism practices such as sustainable tourism and ecotourism can help minimize negative impacts and promote conservation efforts.

In conclusion, balancing the benefits and drawbacks of tourist destinations is essential for ensuring the sustainability of both the local community and environment. It is our responsibility as travelers to be conscious of our impact and make sustainable choices to minimize negative consequences.

Best regards,
[Your Name]

Traditional crafts offer numerous benefits to both individuals and society. Firstly, they help preserve a nation’s cultural heritage and history, passing down unique techniques through generations. Secondly, practicing these crafts can be a relaxing hobby that reduces stress and improves mental health. Furthermore, producing handmade items creates job opportunities and supports the local economy. Finally, many traditional products use natural materials, making them more environmentally friendly than mass-produced goods. In short, traditional crafts are valuable for their cultural, economic, and personal significance.

Nowaday, traffic problem is the biggest problem that many people care about. In VN, I think the city where have the worst traffic is Ha Noi.
The first problem is the traffic jam here. Why? In the rush hours of the day, there're too many people using the road. Last year, in 2013, many bridges was built so it happen less but in order to stop this, a kind of small car should be invented, people should go to works by buses instead of going by motorbikes...
The second one, as you know, the roads in VN is not as big and clean as the roads in the big countries. They're narrow, bumpy and some dirty so it’s really hard for the road users to drive safely. I think we should raise money to make the road in VN better and better.
But everyone knows that Vietnamese people are not respect and don’t follow the traffic rules. That’s the biggest reason for everything. They wear the helmet that not strong enough to keep they safe if the accident may happen, they ride too fast on the small roads… The traffic will never can be improve if they keep doing this.
At the end, I hope the traffic in VN will improve more.

I live in Vietnam and there are a lot of traffic problems in big cities in my country. Firstly, there are too many people using the roads especially in the rush hour when people run out to work and school or get home from those places. Secondly, there are too many vehicles on the road that leads to traffic jams. Another problem is that many roads are narrow and bumpy. Fourthly, there are traffic accidents every day so a lot of people lose their lives or are injured. So in order to travel on the roads safely, I think we should obey the traffic rules and traffic signs as well. Moreover, carefulness is very necessary.

TOPIC 2:

Nowadays, more and more people want to live in the city because of its advantages. However, living in a city has several drawbacks. Firstly, there are traffic jams. On the roads, especially rush hours, many vehicles are moving on the same road and it caused traffic jams. The increase in population and numbers of owner vehicles have caused traffic accidents every day. Public transport is uncomfortable and inefficient for most people. Secondly, air pollution has negative effects on people's health, animals, vegetation and buildings. More and more city people suffer coughing or breathing problems because air contains foreign materials or gases such as carbon dioxide, sulphur and nitrogen beyond the prescribed limit. Thirdly, the city is noisy. Noise pollution comes from machines, vehicles, industrial factories. It may affect the mind, health and behaviour. Or cause physical discomfort and temporary or permanent damage to hearing. Moreover, It also makes headache, irritability deafness, stress and high blood pressure. In short, living in a city has both advantages and drawbacks. If we want to live in the city, we must learn how to protect ourselves from these drawbacks.

TOPIC 2:

Life in modern cities truly causes a lot of nuisances. In the first place, citizens have to deal with traffic congestion every day. This problem is even worse in the rush hour when so many people run out to work and are stuck on the streets for hours. Next, the high cost of living is also a serious issue in the city, especially in metropolitan cities. More and more people find it difficult to live on their modest salaries when prices are going up all the time. Financial pressure makes city dwellers become constantly stressed and tired. Finally, the polluted air caused by exhaust emissions from millions of vehicles, construction dust and the lack of green trees negatively affects residents’ health. Many people suffer from respiratory problems such as cough, sore throat or asthma. Indeed, city life brings a number of difficulties as well as challenges to its citizens.
