I was born and grew up in a small village of DAI TU district, in THAI NGUYEN province. It is about 150 km from here.
It is a small village because it has only a population of 1000 with a size of 3 square kilometers
There is a primary school in the village, so it is very convenient for children to go to school. There is a small market with a lot of fresh food. The food here is cheaper and fresher than the one in the city.
My village has some nice view, such as: large fields where we can fly a kite and Cau river, where I could swim and my mother usually wash clother there.
Centre of my village is a khuon ga pagoda, it has a large yard,where we usually play badminton, tabletenis or meet each other to chat, next to the pagoda is a large lake. I going fishing here very much.
Especially, I tea of my hometown a lot, because it very delecious, I usually drink a cup of tea before I start working.
The people in my village are very hospitable, friendly, helpful and generous. They are all hard working people. They mainly live on farming and business…
Being a learner of Tran quoc Tuan university, I only come home once a month , so I miss my hometown very much.
Life in the city is full of activity. Early in the morning hundreds of people rush out of their homes in the manner ants do when their nest is broken. Soon the streets are full of traffic. Shops and offices open, students flock to their schools and the day’s work begins. The city now throb with activity, and it is full of noise. Hundreds of sight-seers, tourists and others visit many places of interest in the city while businessmen from various parts of the world arrive to transact business.
Then towards evening, the offices and day schools begin to close. Many of the shops too close. There is now a rush for buses and other means of transport. Everyone seems to be in a hurry to reach home. As a result of this rush, many accidents occur. One who has not been to the city before finds it hard to move about at this time. Soon, however, there is almost no activity in several parts of the city. These parts are usually the business centres. With the coming of night, another kind of actịvity begins. The streets are now full of colorful lights. The air is cooler and life becomes more leisurely. People now seek entertainment. Many visit the cinemas, parks and clubs, while others remain indoors to watch television or listen to the radio. Some visit friends and relatives and some spend their time reading books and magazines. Those who are interested in polis discuss the latest polial developments. At the same time, hundreds of crimes are committed. Thieves and robbers who wait for the coming of night become active, and misfortune descends upon many. For the greed of a few, many are killed, and some live in constant fear. To bring criminals to juse, the officers of the law are always on the move.
Workers and others who seek advancement in their careers attend educational institutions which are open till late in the night. Hundreds of them sit for various examinations every year. The facilities and opportunities that the people in the city have to further their studies and increase their knowledge of human affairs are indeed many. As a result, the people of the city are usually better informed than those of the village, where even a newspaper is sometimes difficult to get.
The city could, therefore, be described as a place of ceaseless activity. Here, the drama of life is enacted every day.
I was born and raised in Nghia Trung, Viet Yen, Bac Giang. Here is the place where I love the best. It is a peaceful place. The air is fresh. The space is quiet. We can enjoy healthy natural conditions without worrying much about environmental pollution. As for social security, my village is a safer place than a city. Morever, people here are friendly and ready to help each other. Most of them live on agriculture and breeding cattle as well as poultry. So the food there are always fresh and tasty. Although I go anywhere, I still think of my village, Nghia Trung .
My neiborhood is not big, but it has a nice view. But, some year recently, people often do not take rubbish into recycle bins, walk on the grass, use more dirty energy, noise pollution,.... So I dis something much. Althought my neighbor is so dirty, peole here improve themselevs. I my neighborhood because it's my homeland, the peole here so friendly, there are a lot of parks, supermarkets, school, ... here.

Last Sunday, my class organized a trip to Son Tinh Island camp. We set off at 5 hours and it took us 3 hours to get there. On arrival, everyone was quite excited and happy. That day, the weather was very beautiful, the air here is fresh. On the island there are many stilt houses and swings. We were assigned to build tents. Then, all of us paripated in some amazing games such as cat chasing mouse, hide and seek, ... Everyone was all excited and active. Someone losing must receive fines, that make the cow face. It looks so funny. On that day, the teacher also celebrated a birthday for some of our classmates. At noon, most people feel hungry, we return to the tent, eat the food prepared from the day before, then, tell stories and sing, take pictures together. In the afternoon, we were cruising by boat. This was the first time I've experienced go on water surface, it feels great. At 5 o'clock, we all had to arrange luggage to come back home. I bought myself some lovely souvenirs. On the way, looking at the island away, I hope that there will be more interesting excursions this.

Chủ nhật tuần trước, lớp mình tổ chức một chuyến đi dã ngoại đến đảo Sơn Tinh camp. Chúng mình xuất phát từ lúc 5 giờ và phải mất 3 tiếng mới đến nơi. Trên đường đi, mọi người đều khá hồi hộp và háo hức. Hôm ấy, trời rất đẹp, không khí trong lành. Trên đảo có rất nhiều nhà sàn và xích đu. Chúng mình được phân công dựng lều. Sau đó, mình tham gia những trò chơi tập thể như mèo đuổi chuột, bịt mắt bắt dê,... Các bạn đều rất hào hứng và thích thú. Một số bạn thua phải chịu phạt, làm mặt con bò rất buồn cười. Hôm ấy, cô giáo còn tổ chức sinh nhật cho một số bạn trong lớp. Đến trưa, đa số mọi người đều cảm thấy đói, chúng mình trở về lều, ăn những thức ăn đã được chuẩn bị sẵn từ hôm trước, sau đó, ngồi kể chuyện và ca hát, chụp ảnh chung. Buổi chiều, chúng mình được dạo biển bằng tàu thủy. Đây là lần đầu mình được trải nghiệm đi trên mặt nước, cảm giác vô cùng tuyệt vời. Đến 5 giờ, mọi người phải thu xếp hành lí để trở về, mình mua được một số món quà lưu niệm nhỏ. Trên đường đi, nhìn bóng hòn đảo xa dần, mình mong rằng sẽ có nhiều hơn nữa những chuyến dã ngoại lí thú như vầy.

My home is in the center of the city. It is a pretty pink house consisting of 6 rooms altogether: a living room, a kitchen, a toilet, a bathroom and two bedrooms. There is also a white leather sofa, TV and wardrobe in the living room. After dinner, my dad turned on the TV, picked a good movie and we would watch it happily. Next to the living room is a kitchen which is used for cooking and enjoying meals. In the middle of the room was a wooden dining table. The kitchen, refrigerator and all cooking needs are carefully arranged in the right corner of the room. The left side of the kitchen is a clean toilet. Next to the bathroom is a bathroom with a shower and a bathtub. Only two rooms upstairs are my parents' room and my own room. I decorate my bedroom with lovely wallpaper and many lovely stuffed animals. A single bed is placed next to the window so I can stare before sleeping. On the opposite side of my bed is my desk and my bookcase contains many books. There are also old TVs and pianos in my bedroom. I parularly the piano because it is a gift from my dad in my birthday. For every Christmas or New Year, all my family members decorate the house together and then gather in the kitchen to cook. Although my house is not too big, this is the most beautiful house in the world.

I feel lucky myself when I was born in a happy family with 4 people. They are my parents, my younger brother and me. My father is 53 years old. He is as a bread-winner in my family so he has to work hard to feed us. Although he is almost busy all day, he usually spends time to teach me and my younger brother many things in life. My mother is a farmer. She is 48 years old. She cooks very well. My family to eat whatever she cooks. She always desire to support us in a well-fed family. My family is going to visit my grandparents in Kien Giang in next summer. I’m looking forward to seeing them and their beautiful house that I love so much. That’s an ancient small French villa with a chimney and many old arc windows. The house is light blue that is my favourite colour. There are two floors and a terrace in the house. A living room and a kitchen are in the first floor. My grandfather put a sofa made from wood, an out-dated telvevision and a small aquarium with many colorful schools of fish. Behind the living room is the kitchen. The stuffs in the kitchen are quite old, exception gas stove and refrigerator. My grandmother told me that she had a lot of experiences in this kitchen because she almost spent all of her life to do household chorces and cooking. Next to the kitchen is a cute henhouse where grandmom often takes eggs to bake a best cake ever. There are 3 bedrooms and a workship room where is kept clean all the time in the second floor. The bedroom is very simple and corny. I have to admit that the bedroom looks very musky. When I was a kid, I always thought of scary things would happen to me if I fell asleep in a bedroom that. And nothing happened to me, of course, that’s just my imagination. The last part of the house is the terrace which is my grandfather’s world. He has many strange beautiful birds whose names are difficult to remember, too. He lets the birds land in the trees which he planted a long time ago. Every morning, my grandparents do exercises and enjoy the fresh air there together. To everyone, that house may be very normal but to me that is the most perfect house in the world.
Dịch: Gia đình tôi sẽ về thăm nhà ông bà ở Kiên Giang vào mùa hè tới. Tôi đang rất trông ngóng để được gặp họ và gặp căn nhà xinh đẹp mà tôi rất yêu quý. Đó là một căn biệt thự nhỏ cổ kiểu Pháp với ống khói và những của số hình vòng cung cũ kĩ. Căn nhà màu xanh nhạt màu mà tôi rất thích. Nhà có hai tầng lầu và một sân thượng. Phòng khách và nhà bếp nằm ở tầng một. Ông của tôi đặt một bộ sofa bằng gỗ, một chiếc tivi cũ và một bể cá cảnh nhỏ với nhiều đàn cá đủ màu trong phòng khách. Phía sau phòng khách là nhà bếp. Những vật dụng ở đây đã khá cũ kĩ trừ bếp ga và tủ lạnh. Bà của tôi nói rằng bà có rất nhiều kỷ niệm trong căn bếp này bời vì bà dành hầu như toàn bộ cuộc đời để làm công việc nhà và nấu nướng. Kế bên nhà bếp là một chiếc chuồng gà đáng yêu nơi mà bà hay lấy trứng để làm món bánh nướng trứng ngon tuyệt vời. Có ba phòng ngủ và một phòng thờ nơi luôn được quét dọn sạch sẽ ở trên tầng thứ hai. Phòng ngủ rất đơn giản và cũ kỹ. Tôi phải thừa nhận rằng phòng ngủ ở đây trông có vẻ rất âm u. Khi tôi còn nhỏ, tôi luôn suy nghĩ về những điều đáng sợ sẽ xảy đến với tôi nếu tôi ngủ. Và không có chuyện gì xảy đến cả, đó là do tôi tưởng tượng ra mà thôi. Phần cuối cùng trong căn nhà là sân thượng-thế giới riêng của ông. Ông nuôi rất nhiều loài lạ và đẹp có cái tên rất khó nhớ. Ông để cho chim chóc đậu trên những cái cây đã được trồng từ rất lâu rồi. Vào mỗi buổi sáng, ông bà của tôi cùng nhau tập thể dục và tận hưởng không khí mát lành trên đây cùng với nhau. Đối với mọi người đó có thể chỉ là một căn nhà bình thường nhưng đối với tôi đó là căn nhà tuyệt vời nhất trên thế giới.
