My house is located in a small quiet alley. That’s a pretty pink house which consists of 6 rooms in totally: a living room, a kitchen, a toilet, a bathroom and two bedrooms. There are a white leather sofa, a television and a sideboard in the living room. After dinner, my father will turn on the television, choose a great movie and we watch it happily. Next to the living room is the kitchen where is used for cooking and enjoying the meals. In the middle of the room is a dinner table which is made from wood. Three cookers, a refrigerator and all the neccesary stuff for cooking is arranged carefully in the right corner of the room. In the left of the kitchen is a clean toilet. Beside the toilet is the bathroom which is equipped a shower and a bathtub. There are only two rooms upstairs that is my parents’ room and my private room. I’ve decorated my bedroom with adorable wallpaper and many lovely stuffed animals. A single bed is placed next to the window so that I can stargaze before falling asleep. In the opposite of the bed are my desk and my bookshelf that contain many kinds of book. There are also an old television and a piano in my bedroom. I especially love the piano because that was the gift from dad in my birthday. In every Christmas or Tet holiday, all member of my family ornament the house together and then gather in the kitchen to cooking. Although my house is not too big but to me that is the most beautiful house in the world.

Entering the first grade, my father bought me a beautiful wooden desk with the message: "There is a new desk, try to study hard!". Attached to the table is a two-story bookshelf located directly above, pressed against the wall, and a very soft padded chair. They are all painted blue, my favorite color. Today if there is any institution which has the greatest influence on us after the family, it is the school. The time that we spend in school are not only time spent in learning and filling our minds with knowledge, but also time spent forming our character, acquiring various attitudes and imbibing basic principles of life. The basic traits of our personality are formed during our school days.
The name of my school is Nguyen Binh Khiem High School. It is situated in the suburb of Hai Phong city. It is considered to be one of the finest schools in the city, highly acclaimed for its excellent for number of talented students. The school building is an impressive structure. It consists of four three – floor blocks and has about 36 classrooms. Classrooms are spacious and airy.
Two staircases at both ends lead to the floors. The school has a well-equipped library, a well- established science laboratory and two excellent computer room, all of which are situated on the a separate block.
There is an area for learning physical education and sports. Two cemented basketball courts stand in the right corner, while the school’s football field is in the center of the area. On the left center, there are two courts for badminton and volleyball. A small garden full of flower plants surrounds the school building adding to the charm and beauty of the entire complex.
My school has over 1200 students. Our headmaster is an experienced and efficient person who has been at his job for the last 10 years and more. Under his able direction, the school has been obtaining many good result and gain the dispute in the city. The teachers here are well-experienced and knowledgeable in their subjects.
A lot of emphasis are given to character formation, moral education and acquiring good values of life. Although the school environment is rather strict and time-table based, but there is lot of fun and joy in the school. Matches, tournaments, musical shows, competitions, events, etc. make my school life lively, interesting and enjoyable.
I am proud to be a student of Nguyen Binh Khiem High school.

My family is going to visit my grandparents in Kien Giang in next summer. I’m looking forward to seeing them and their beautiful house that I love so much. That’s an ancient small French villa with a chimney and many old arc windows. The house is light blue that is my favourite colour. There are two floors and a terrace in the house. A living room and a kitchen are in the first floor. My grandfather put a sofa made from wood, an out-dated telvevision and a small aquarium with many colorful schools of fish. Behind the living room is the kitchen. The stuffs in the kitchen are quite old, exception gas stove and refrigerator. Next to the kitchen is a cute henhouse where grandmom often takes eggs to bake a best cake ever. There are 3 bedrooms and a workship room where is kept clean all the time in the second floor. The bedroom is very simple and corny. I have to admit that the bedroom looks very musky. When I was a kid, I always thought of scary things would happen to me if I fell asleep in a bedroom that. And nothing happened to me, of course, that’s just my imagination. The last part of the house is the terrace which is my grandfather’s world. He has many strange beautiful birds whose names are difficult to remember, too. He lets the birds land in the trees which he planted a long time ago. Every morning, my grandparents do exercises and enjoy the fresh air there together. To everyone, that house may be very normal but to me that is the most perfect house in the world.

I have a bestfiend and also a neighborhood whoes name is Tuan. His age is the same as mine but he looks older than me. Because he’s very tall and thin, everybody calls him “a palm”. Tuan has a short curly hair and beautiful chestnut brown eyes that appeal of many girls. He is a person of very few words that makes him to be a good listener. Anyone, who has ever contacted with Tuan, thinks about him as a glacial boy. In fact he’s really warm and nice. He’s willing to help people whenever possible. When I was in secondary school, I found Math was very difficult to understand but Tuan solved the Math problems so fast. He spent all seven nights of weeks to help me in Math while he could go out to relax. Tuan was a good all-rounder exception English. Most of the teachers in school and parents highly appreaciated his talent. Only a month ago, he received two full scholarships from America Government to study oversea but he has not yet decided whether he should go or not. Although he has not spent much time to take part in sport activities, he is a well football player. We were in Ha Noi Young Football Team when we were in grade 10. Everything seems perfect to my bestfriend but he’s very modest and always talks to himself to give more effort. I’m proud of Tuan and pray for the good things beside him forever.

After stress and pressure in life, one always has a place to come back called home. I love decorating my own bedroom. My bedroom is on the second floor near my parents’ bedroom. There is a double bed for my younger sister and me. I usually lie above her so that it is easier for me to study late at night without annoying her. The room has a big wood wardrobe, which contains all of our clothes such as: dress, jean, t-shirt and sock. Beside, my mother bought us a dressing table on my 15th birthday; therefore, I put all the makeup-stuff and bandeau here. In the corner stand a large bookshelf in order to store books, academic document as well as family passe-partout. Next to it is a table with a desktop so as to help us investigate more knowledge on the internet. My sister and I really enjoy decorating the room with sker such as: mickey, boo bear, hello kitty, angry bird and so on. Beside, we also sk glow-in-the-dark tape on the ceiling and it turn out to light when darkness comes. Moreover, the room is designed with pink and deep blue so it brings us cozy and fresh feeling when putting step into it. The bathroom is in my room too. It is quite small but always clean and restful as we tidy it up every week. My father suggests having a bathtub; however, we don’t agree since we enjoy having a shower instead of lying in tub. Bedroom is a resting place after a hard studying day; hence we always clean it up so that it is neat and comfortable.

During childhood, I used to feed different kind of pet such as: hamster, dog, rabbit; however, I still like my cat the most. Her name is Katy. In spite of laziness, it helps us relaxing, protecting house from some insects. Cat is not new to people but its feather is used to make out many cat fur coat and other items of fashion. It is highly recommend that government create a strict law banning on cat thief. Finally, cat is a cute animal; therefore, it needs to be protected and preserved from being eaten and illegally killed.

I like most of animals as long as they are not harmful or dangerous, but my favorite one is dog. Dogs are well known for their intelligence and loyalty; and in my opinion, their looks are also very cute. There are many different breeds in the world, and most countries have at least one featuring dog breed of their own. Nowadays, most breeds of dog are not the same as they were from hundred years ago, but they have been artificially selected for particular appearances and behaviors by people for specific purposes. Because of this selective breeding, dogs have developed into hundreds of varied breeds, and they show more connection with people than any other land mammal. Some of the most popular breeds are Golden Retriever, Siberian Husky, Alaska, Bulldog, Doberman, German Shepherd, and it can be said that each breed has their own significant function in human’s life. Dogs have been the best companions for human at a very early age, their roles in hunting, herding, pulling loads and protection truly helped human in a lot of aspects. More recently, they have developed more practical roles in assisting police and military, companionship, and helping handicapped ones, and most people accept that dogs appear in their lives more than they had ever thought. My family has a little dog, and he has all of the best qualities of a good one. He is actually my best friend since I am the one who spends most time playing with him. I love him very much, but I have to accept a fact that his life span is much shorter than human. A well – treated dog can live up to 12 or 15 years, and each year in dog’s life span is equal with 5 years in human’s one. Since dogs are the most popular animal to show such love and loyalty to human, its shortage in life span is truly a sad thing for all the dog lovers. Although I do not have much time with my beloved dogs, I always love them as my best companions in life.

People often say that dogs are the most intelligent animals, but dolphins are also a very intelligent species. Dolphins' habitat is in the sea; so many people misunderstand dolphins with fish. In fact, they are mammals, and of course they also give birth of baby dolphin instead of eggs. They spend most of their time underwater, but sometimes they have to come up to the surface to get air like any other mammals. Their breathing activity involves expelling stale air from their blowhole, and then they inhale fresh air into the lungs. Dolphins are often regarded as one of most intelligent animals on Earth, although it is hard to say and prove just how intelligent they really are. They are highly social animal, and research shows that they establish strong social bonds among their pods. They will stay with injured or ill ones, and they even help others to breathe by bringing them to the surface if needed. They can learn from other animals, they show great cooperation in hunting, and they even express different shades of emotions. Due to these significant characteristics, people tend to take them from the wild then train them to do tricks in entertaining shows at some big aquariums. Many people consider them as friendly animals and even friends to human because there are stories about dolphin sometimes help sailors to find the right way to the shores, or sometimes they even protect human from predators such as sharks. However, some countries such as Japan and Peru consider dolphin as one of their favorite seafood. Japan is well known for its dolphin hunting in mass amount, and those drive hunts always result in bloody shores with hundreds of dead bodies of this beautiful creature. Some organizations have developed to protect dolphin from being slaughtered barbarically, but it is still a hard process since dolphin meat is considered as a part of traditional cuisine in those countries. I love dolphin very much, and I hope that people will stop taking advantages from those intelligent and friendly animal.
