3) Van Mieu (The Temple of Literature) was constructed in 1070 during Ly Thanh Tong's dynasty. Its original purpose was to honor Confucius. In 1076, the first university of Vietnam called Quoc Tu Giam (The Imperial Academy), was established within this temple by Emperor Ly Nhan Tong. That's the reason why the complex has the name of Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam up to now. Initially, Quoc Tu Giam was the school for princes and children of royal families and then expanded in the following year to admit top students from around the country.

Nowadays, Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam is one of the most famous tourist destinations for both Vietnamese people and foreigners. It's also a place to celebrate doctorates and high ranking scholars of Vietnam. One special thing about this place is that there are 82 Doctors' stone tablets. They are tombstones with names and origins of 1304 doctors placed on the backs of stone tortoises. If you come here at the beginning of the year or in May, when many important examinations take place, you will catch sights of numerous families and students who come and pray for luck.

i taking part in the community service and volunteer work.Last year , our class joined the community service and volunteer work . We did many things . Firstly , we donated books , warm clothes to street children . Secondly , we raised money to buy uniforms, books and pens for poor students in ( ghi tên trường bạn vào ) secondary school . Thirdly, we provided the poor with food and drinks.Fourthly,we cooked free meals for homeless people . Finally , we opened  evening classes for street children . In short , i adore these activitives because they help people happier and funnier. They also make a diference in our community service

One day, I want to travel to Korea because I have always been a fan of Korea’s culture.

Korea is located in Asia. This country is famous for many things like K-Pop, amazing food, peach blossoms, movies,… If I am in Korea, I want to go hiking on Mt Seoraksan – a mesmerizing famous mountain. The next place I want to visit is Jeju Island to see the beautiful beaches and giant lava tubes. It would be awesome if I could see my K-Pop idols in real life or at least go see their companies. Jagalchi Market in Busan is very beautiful, I hope to go there and try good seafood. Like other tourists, I also want to try on their traditional costume – Hanbok, and take lots of pictures. Korea is a great destination and I wish to travel there in the future.

Every day I have chance to watch different famous people shine and bring inspiration to others on TV; however, the one that inspires me the most is BTS .  band is a typical example of a strong, intelligent and independent woman.  However, band overcame all the difficulties to become one of the most successful singer and composer of America. Band challenges herself in different types of music, from Country, Ballad to Pop, and all of her songs carry deep meanings. Most people can find themselves in her lyrics and band melodies. Besides her singing career, band is also a who has band own enterprises and brand names. band had tried so hard in band youth to achieve the things that I always dream of; therefore, band  is a great symbol that I always look up. band is forever my beloved idol, and her effort is the goal for me to never quit trying.

My hobby is reading knowledgeable and interesting books in my square time. Reading is such a good habit which healthy for your brain and keeps your brain functioning actively. Reading is a wonderful way to keeps you relax and happy. For me, there is nothing makes me happier than to have a stack of books on my nightstand to attack on a night when there is no alarm clock waiting the next morning.  It’s the great source of enjoyment, inspiration , instruction, and knowledge. Reading book can make us disciplined, punctual, loyal and most importantly a very successful person in this life. While reading books, noone can feel disturb or alone. I think this hobby is more precious than other precious stones in the world. It can provide us noble thoughts, ideas to work in many fields and high level of knowledge. Interesting and knowledgeable book is like best friend of the someone who likes to read.

I have a friend.Her name is Hang. She is short but thin.She has long black hair.she has a nose along the melon.Her teeth is white and clean. her cheeks are chubby.She is very kind and friendly,special she is very very cute. At school she often helps classmate so everyboby in my class loves her. Me too. I hope our friendship forever.

My best friend in high school is Lan. Lan sits next to me in class, eats with me at break time, and hangs out with me after school. She has long and beautiful hair; my mother always says that I need to pay more attention to my hair so it can be pretty as hers. I am good at English while Lan is excellent in Math, therefore we can help each other every time one of us has trouble in understanding those subjects. Besides our study, Lan is always by my side whenever I feel upset. I tell her everything, and only her can know my true feelings. We have been best friends since our young age, and I will keep this friendship forever.

Vietnamese water puppetry is a unique folk art. It’s said that ‘Not watching a performance of water puppetry means not visiting Vietnam yet.’ That’s why water puppetry is a must-see show for tourists in Vietnam. Watching this show can help you escape from your busy life and refresh your minds with unforgettable moments.

During the shows, you can only see the puppets and a small folk orchestra of about 7 people; the puppeteers stand behind a curtained backdrop in a pool. All puppets are made of fig wood which goes along well with water. Then they are carved and painted. The themes of the shows are very familiar to Vietnamese people. They focus on the daily life of farmers and common aspects of Vietnamese spiritual life.

Vietnamese water puppetry has been introduced to many countries all over the world and received much love from audiences. Foreigners don’t understand Vietnamese, but they enjoy the shows because the puppets clearly demonstrate Vietnamese life and culture through their actions.
