Task 1: Letter to Penfriend

Dear Friend,

It’s great to hear from you! I’ve just returned from a wonderful holiday in Da Nang, and I can't wait to tell you about it.

During my stay, I explored amazing local attractions, visited close friends, and spent time relaxing along the beautiful coast. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the street food was absolutely delicious!

Instead of a busy hotel, I stayed in a cozy, modern homestay near the city center. It was clean, quiet, and very comfortable after long days of sightseeing.

How was your recent break? I'd love to hear all about it in your next letter!

Best wishes,

Dat

Dear Trang,
How are you? I was very happy when I got a letter from you. I am really happy that you spent a wonderful summer holiday in Sa Pa. And now, I would like to tell you about my summer holiday. Last summer I visited Cua Lo beach with my parents. We went there by car. We stayed in Binh Minh hotel for a week.
In Cua Lo, we visited a lot of interesting places: Hon Ngu island, Nguyen Su Hoi temple. But the most exciting for me was visiting Hon Ngu island. It was fantastic and romantic.. Food in Cua Lo is extremely delicious. I especially felt excited with the courses from seafood such as "cua rang me, chao ngao or mam ruoc"
Cua Lo's people are very friendly and warm. So, my parents and I felt happy very comfortable like at home. Well, I told you everything about my holiday. Trang, what places do you want to visit on your next holiday? Why?
I hope to get the answer from you soon.
Best wishes

Đề bài là gì vậy bạn?

Đây nè bạn, chúc bạn học tốt :))
(Bài này mình tự viết nên hơi lâu chút xíu, có gì không hay bạn thông cảm nhé)
"Hi Carla!
My country's breakfast is not famous, but when you finish reading this letter, you will feel hungry :P
Breakfast in my country is also very diverse, but perhaps the dish that I eat most in the morning is sticky rice. It's really delicious, and it gives me energy for the mornings at school. In addition, when my family is free, my family will go to eat banh cuon! It's delicious, but it takes a long time to eat, so my family usually eats it on weekends, when I'm off school.
People in my country eat a lot of dishes, which are: Bun Cha, Pho, Banh Xeo, etc. These dishes are almost always eaten at the restaurant, not at home because it takes a lot of time to prepare.
What do you see? After reading the letter, are you hungry? And in your project, maybe you should include the breakfast in your country :)
Good bye my best friend :))
Minh"

Dear Sue,

Thanks for your letter! It was great to hear from you. I’m happy to tell you about television in Vietnam.

In my country, TV programs are quite varied and interesting. We have a wide range of channels offering news, reality shows, game shows, and cultural documentaries. Programs like traditional game shows or music competitions are especially popular because they bring families together in the evening.

Personally, I don't watch a lot of TV—usually about one to two hours a day, mostly in the evening to catch up on the daily news or watch a movie to unwind after studying.

I think many people, especially older generations, still watch quite a lot of TV. However, younger people are shifting toward smartphones and online streaming platforms instead.

What about you? What kind of shows do you enjoy watching? Write back soon!

Best wishes,

Dat

Dear.............,

The first and most important issue is not to reduce the food you eat daily. You can change the menu and the way you eat but if you start a diet by yourself, the first thing you’ll lose is your health.

You can find many good gyms and if you want I can send the names for you in another letter. However, you don’t need to go to a gym to stay fit. Some small changes to your life can make a big difference. For example, you can start by walking sometime in the morning or at lunchtime.

I hope you don’t have any health problem and it would be nice if you went to a doctor for a check up before starting any exercise.

Best regards,

.............

Dear Friend,

It’s great to hear from you! I’m happy to give you a few simple tips on how to keep fit and healthy.

First, staying physically active is essential. You can start with daily exercises like brisk walking, cycling, or spending time at the gym. Doing targeted workouts regularly is a fantastic way to build strength and keep your energy levels high.

Second, pay attention to your daily diet. Try to eat balanced meals with plenty of fresh vegetables and proteins, while cutting down on sugary snacks and fast food. Also, remember to drink enough water throughout the day and get at least 7–8 hours of good sleep every night to let your body recover.

I hope these tips help! Let me know how your new routine goes.

Best wishes,

Dat
