Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.
My favorite movie is cartoon “Tom and Jerry”. Tom is a cat with blue and white color. He keeps the house for a normal family and has a very free life. His job is chasing Jerry day by day. Jerry is a brown house mouse. He usually lives in the deep cave behind the wall. Although they hate each other so much and always find ways to hurt opponent but when Tom or Jerry falls into really dangerous situations, then both become another savior. The film is an endless confrontation between Tom and Jerry, bring plenty of laughter for the audiences. I love this film because when I watch it I feel very glad, feeling like returned to childhood.
The movie is among my hobbies. Have you seen a film about father's love ? So " I am Sam" is a notable film.I like it very much.This is a film moved to tears.
The film of father's love for his daughter. The main character of film is Sam Dawson- an intellectual disability father. he doesn't have many things such as: social status, money, big house, new car...but he has a large love for daughter. Her name is Lucy.It's a lovely girl. When she was born, her mother left.She grew up in the father's love.Then one day after 7 years,her mother come back.She wants to breed Lucy.But Lucy loves her father more than her mother.
So what will Sam do when he has to leave his daughter forever? Despair? Cry? Give up? Sad? No,Sam doesn't. With the strong energy and a loving father's heart. He never give up all things to be reunited with his daughter.Finally, their father was reunited. A good ending for Sam and Lucy. This is a meaningful film.
Though the story of Sam Dawson, the filmmaker want to send a message to every body:" What is the children need? The wealthy, money or an endless love?" This is something whose parents need to think.I think so. What about you?

I learn many subjects in school. But the one I enjoy learning is History.
History tells us how people lived ages ago. It also tells us how men had to struggle to make the world a better place to live. Many pupils, however, do not like to read History. They say that there are too many names and dates to remember. But they do not understand that if we do not know about the past, we can not understand the present properly. In fact, only a study of History will make us realize that everything we do today is the result of what our grandfathers and others before them did in the past. So, History is the long story, we learn many interesting things.
I love history so much that i have a lot of history books in my house. Some day, i might even write a history book myself.

My favourite subject in school is English. It is quite easy and pleasant to study it. English is used in each field of life and it is useful to know it.
Most of web sides are in English. It is nice to be able to use such a sides like yahoo, msn and english Wikipedia. I can get a lot of information and news, which are not available on polish sides.
I can use english books and magazines. Sometimes I like to download e-books and magazines in pdf. It is effectively way to study English in home. Using English I can communicate with many peoples. I can use Skype and ICQ to talk and chat and get new contacts. I can use many applications and play games. I have used Windows XP and Office for two months and it was quite easy. Most of movies are in English. I like to watch them without subtitles. If I can I always switch the polish dubbing off ? I hate it.
The last advantage to know English is I can talk with all people talking English. This holidays when I was in Gdańsk somebody asked all people: ?Do you speak English?? Everybody talked ?No? and ?Nie wiem o co chodzi.?. When she came to me and asked the question ?Do you speak English?? I could say ?Yes, how can I help you?? She told ?How can I get to the bus station?? I told ?Can you see this building? The station is behind it. Please go this way?. She smiled to me and walked away. I was happy that I could help.
As you can see English is useful in life. All of us study it in everyday situations and activities. The language is quite simple and logic. I use it all the time. This is why I like English and it is my favourite subject in school

My favorite subject is English. The first reason I like this subject is that it
is a core subject which is vital and essential in my career path. I try to learn this
international language well so that I can communicate with foreigners and find a
good job in the future. Furthermore, learning English well can help me read
books or magazines in English. Through reading things in English, I can be
exposed to various cultures and customs. Besides, my English teacher is a
dedicated person who can engage me in her lessons and bring the passion for me.
I found her lessons interesting because she delivered them in a way that I really
liked. In short, English is an important subject which I am really keen on.
