Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

Last summer, I went to Cua lo with my family. We went there by  car, it is very far from my house, it is about 400 km, so we were very tired, but at one we felt better when we saw the sea.

Cua lo beach is really interesting, the beach is very large, flat, and it has a lot of sand. Waves are very strong, you will be very excited when you play with it. There are  a lot of beauty spots,  and good seafood there

We stayed in Binh Minh hotel. It was a very nice and comfortable hotel, it’s also rather near the sea.

The weather was hot and sunny all day. The sea was cool and clear, because it was very windy in the afternoon. We went swimming twice a day. My children was excited about it. The food was extremely delicious but not very expensive.

          We took a lot of Photographs of the sea, bought a lot of seafood especially octopus and some sea present for our relatives

After a week in Cua lo beach we felt happy and stronger.

We hope to go there again.

I learn many subjects in school. But the one I enjoy learning is History.

History tells us how people lived ages ago. It also tells us how men had to struggle to make the world a better place to live. Many pupils, however, do not to read History. They say that there are too many names and dates to remember. But they do not understand that if we do not know about the past, we can not understand the present properly. In fact, only a study of History will make us realize that everything we do today is the result of what our grandfathers and others before them did in the past. So, History is the long story, we learn many interesting things.

I love history so much that i have a lot of history books in my house. Some day, i might even write a history book myself.

I have a neighbor named Cuc. She looks as attractive as a Hollywood star. She has a tall and slim appearance. Her long black hair stylishly falls down to her shoulders and encircles her diamond – shaped face. Specially, I her eyes because it looks large deep and blue. Her bent nose gives her a little girl look that makes me want to smile when she talks. Furthermore, her character is very friendly and kind to people. She always helps poor people and sometimes gives my family delicious foods. In conclusion, I really her.

I have a younger brother named Hoang. My elder brother is 10 years old. He is   tall and thin. His face is quite square with a straight nose. It makes me envious because I don’t have a perfect nose him. However, my younger brother has a piggy eyes and he looks very crooked. He studies at primary school near our house. Everyday he is hard to do his homework before going to bed. I am always proud of his achievement because of his good marks in his class. My younger brother is good at playing football and he often wins many matches. To me, he is a good boy and I love him very much.

She was my English teacher when I was in grade 8. I still remember that she has a feminine round face with distinctive facial features, which easily catch the eyes of the passers-by. She is the most delightful and friendly teacher I have ever met. She is an extremely attentive, caring and patient person.

Each person gradually conquers the path of knowledge not only by their own efforts but first of all with the guidance of teachers. Ms Hanh is one of the ferrymen who taught and taught me a lot. Seeing her every day on the podium should have imprinted her image in my mind. She is nearly forty years old this year but still exudes youthful and radiant features. We used to guess that when you were a teenager, you must have been very pretty. My first impression when I met her was the grace, composure shown from actions, gestures, voice. That hand has held chalk for decades, has encouraged and comforted us when we are sad, weak or tired. Her voice is low and high to follow the rhythm of the lecture, full of charm.

She teaches Literature and is the homeroom teacher, so in addition to useful lectures, she is also a friend, mother, and a predecessor to teach us life lessons.

Each song of him usually gives people many relaxing moments after stressful working hours. He is a singer who is loved by so many people. And in my eyes, he is forever the greatest idol.

Every day I have chance to watch different famous people shine and bring inspiration to others on TV; however, the one that inspires me the most is Taylor Swift. She is a typical example of a strong, intelligent and independent woman. She used to be a small girl who had been bullied throughout the school years. However, she overcame all the difficulties to become one of the most successful singer and composer of America. She challenges herself in different types of music, from Country, Ballad to Pop, and all of her songs carry deep meanings. Most people can find themselves in her lyrics and her melodies. Besides her singing career, she is also a businesswoman who has her own enterprises and brand names. She had tried so hard in her youth to achieve the things that I always dream of; therefore, she is a great symbol that I always look up. Taylor Swift is forever my beloved idol, and her effort is the goal for me to never quit trying.
 

I learn English because I want to be an English teacher in the future. English is very helpfull, it helps us to travel all around the world. Learing English is fun, free and interesting so I love learning English!
