      Do you know any effective ways to learn English? Let me share with you some methods that I know.
     First, you can watch movies in English or listen to music. At first, it may be difficult to understand, but if you turn on English subtitles, you will understand more clearly.
     Second, you should read English stories. It may be hard at the beginning, but you will learn many new words.
      Third, practice speaking English by talking with friends, teachers, or even by speaking to yourself. If you like, you can also join classes to improve your skills.
      Finally, you should write new words in a notebook. Learn 2–5 words every day, and review them by writing sentences or reading them often.

New Year is usually the best time of the year in many coutries. And it involves different traditions in different countries. Scottish people have some very interesting ones. For example, it is important that you clean your house before midnight and pay all your debts before the old year is over.

For Korean people, New Year’s Eve is the night when noone sleeps. In the past people believed that if you sleep that night, your eyebrows will turn white. And to make sure this doesn’t happen, people leave the lights on every room of the house. Mexican people, on the other hand, place twelve grapes in everyone’s plate in that day. Then they eat them in the twelve seconds before midnight. Each grape comes with a wish for a month of the year.
