Last weekend, I cooked a simple but delicious dish called fried rice with vegetables and chicken. First, I prepared all the ingredients. I washed and cut the carrots, onions, and green beans into small pieces. Then I sliced the chicken breast into thin strips. After that, I heated some oil in a large pan and fried the garlic until it smelled fragrant. I added the chicken and cooked it for about five minutes until it turned golden brown. Next, I put the vegetables into the pan and stirred them well. When everything was nearly cooked, I added a bowl of cold rice and mixed it carefully. I poured in a little soy sauce, salt, and pepper to improve the flavor. Finally, I stirred the rice for a few more minutes and turned off the stove. The dish looked colorful and tasted wonderful, and my family really enjoyed it.
My alley is resplendent with ten areca palms arranged in two straight rows. The areca palm trunks are round, reaching up high, silvery in color, each ring like a jewelry ring. The fresh green areca palm leaves bend like soft hands, dancing beautifully in the gentle breeze. On summer nights, the fragrance of areca flowers spreads, filling the space. The areca palms, each as big as a chicken egg, have shiny green skin. Four seasons have passed, the areca palms are still pristine, standing there like close friends in my family's familiar garden.

Global pollution is one of the most serious problems facing humanity today. It affects the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the land we live on. Over the past few decades, rapid industrialization and population growth have increased the amount of waste and harmful emissions released into the environment. As a result, many cities around the world are covered in smog, making it difficult for people to breathe and causing serious health problems. Air pollution mainly comes from factories, vehicles, and the burning of fossil fuels. It contributes to climate change, which leads to rising temperatures, melting ice caps, and extreme weather events.
Water pollution is another alarming issue. Oceans, rivers, and lakes are being polluted by plastic waste, oil spills, and chemical substances from industries and agriculture. Millions of marine animals die each year because they ingest plastic or become trapped in it. Moreover, polluted water sources can cause dangerous diseases for humans, especially in developing countries where access to clean water is limited.
Land pollution is also a growing concern. The excessive use of plastic products and improper waste disposal have created huge landfills. Many toxic substances seep into the soil, reducing its fertility and affecting food production. Deforestation, which is often carried out to make room for agriculture or urban development, destroys natural habitats and reduces biodiversity.
The causes of global pollution are closely linked to human activities. However, humans also have the power to reduce its impact. Governments can introduce stricter environmental laws, promote renewable energy, and encourage recycling programs. Individuals can help by reducing plastic use, saving energy, planting trees, and raising awareness about environmental protection.
In conclusion, global pollution is a complex and urgent issue that requires cooperation from all countries and individuals. If we do not take action now, future generations will suffer the consequences. Protecting our planet is not only a responsibility but also a necessity for the survival of life on Earth.
