Đoạn trích "Buổi học cuối cùng" của An-phông-xơ Đô-đê đã để lại trong lòng người đọc ấn tượng sâu sắc về nhân vật thầy Hamen – một người thầy yêu nghề, yêu nước, tận tụy với học trò và tràn đầy lòng tự hào dân tộc.  Hình ảnh thầy Hamen không chỉ là một nhân vật trong tác phẩm, mà còn trở thành biểu tượng cho sự hy sinh thầm lặng của những người thầy trong thời chiến tranh,  góp phần khơi dậy lòng yêu nước và ý thức dân tộc cho thế hệ trẻ.
