Essay on my trip to Nha Trang city
My first visit to Nha Trang, a coastal city in Vietnam, was three years ago. It was a pleasant and memorable trip.
Nha Trang, the Capital of Khanh Hoa province, has one of the most popular municipal beaches in all of Vietnam. In Nha Trang, nature beauties are so attractive. Waves crashing onto the cliffs; the soft sigh of the sea breeze; clean white sands and turquoise waters; it all makes for a marvelous landscapes. It’s no accident that Nha Trang is often compared to a Mediterranean City. During my visit to Nha Trang, I used to get up early each morning to stroll along the beach – a chance of breathing in the fresh sea air and enjoy the sunrise across the water. One attraction that captivated me three years ago and still it does is the collection of small offshore islands. Hon Tre is the largest among the islands, and Monkey island is, as the name suggests, the home of hundreds of wild monkeys. Yen island is known for its swifts’ nests. Tri Nguyen island is the location of an outdoor aquarium housing more than 400 species of fish, crustaceans and other marine life.
That trip, I spent the whole day roaming the Ponaga Cham towers. These ancient Hindu temples were built from the 7th to 12th century. Many of the sandstone statues from this time still remain among the red brick towers, typical of Cham architecture.
Nha Trang is the city in harmony: its fine weather, favorite position and friendly people bring it a certain balance. Nha Trang is a perfect tourist destination. As I left, I was reminded of one reason I the place so much. I hope to have chance to come back.
Hoi An is an ancient town down the Thu Bon River, on the coastal plain of Quang Nam Province, for about 30 km south of Da Nang City. Hoi An used to be known as the international market with many different names such as Lam Ap, Faifo, Hoai Pho and Hoi An is the most common one now.
What is special about Hoi An is that this little port town is in an incredible state of preservation. It includes some of the most densely-concentrated sights in Viet Nam with its old streets which are bordered with ancient houses and assembly halls, its pagodas, temples, ancient wells and tombs. In total, there are more than a thousand places of interest. The architecture in Hoi An is characterized by a harmonious blend of Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese culture. After many centuries, Hoi An is still respectful of its traditions, folk festivals, beliefs and of its sophisated culinary art. Located in a quiet environment, Hoi An is surrounded by peaceful villages famous for crafts such as carpentry, bronze making, ceramic…
Researchers said that most of the buildings in Hoi An underwent restoration at the beginning of the 19th century, even if some of them might be constructed long time ago. The ancient architecture is shown most clearly in the Ancient Town that is located in Minh An Ward. It covers about 2 square kilometers and almost of all famous relics in Hoi An are gathered here. The streets are very short and narrow, having a winding, crossing as the chessboard style. The topography of the ancient town tilt gradually from north to south. The buildings in the old town are built mostly with traditional materials such as: brick, wood and no more than two floors. The trace of time is able to find not only on the architectural design of each building but also everywhere : on the yin-yang roof tiles covered with moss and plants; the old gray mold walls; the pictures carved on a strange animal, or describing an old story… Having inherited a multi-cultural architecture which is so varied and sophisated, Hoi An must have attracted numerous and talented workers in carpentry, ceramics, and woodcarving from China, Japan and other regions of Viet Nam.
For centuries, Hoi An had developed into a melting pot of various nationalities who came to the area, and brought along their own cultures. Accordingly, Hoi An features the co-existence of indigenous customs and habits and those imported by foreign settlers.
During childhood, I used to feed different kind of pet such as: hamster, dog, rabbit; however, I still my cat the most. Her name is Katy. Her hair consists of three colors white, black and blonde. She has tiny ear, small nose and blue bright eyes, which can glow in the dark. Her hobbies is playing with colors wool rolls and catching mouse. Katy don’t really cat food, she enjoy fish bone, rice and tiny shrimp. Although she eats less, she seems to be energe all day long. Katy and I have great time being together. She is my best friend as she knows how is my inside feeling and sharing my sadness as well as happiness. Whenever I am not in good mood or in trouble, I hug her and feel a cosy breath that sweep all the disappointment. Every evening, I take her for a walk in a local park so that we can enjoy fresh air and she makes more friends with other cats. Cat is an easy-to-feed pet as it is small, obedient. In spite of laziness, it helps us relaxing, protecting house from some insects. Cat is not new to people but its feather is used to make out many cat fur coat and other items of fashion. It is highly recommend that government create a strict law banning on cat thief. Finally, cat is a cute animal; therefore, it needs to be protected and preserved from being eaten and illegally killed.

Mặc dù lười biếng nhưng nó luôn tạo cho ta cảm giác thoải mái và giữ nhà sạch sẽ bởi các loại côn trùng. Mèo không còn xa lạ với con người nhưng lông của chúng bị dung làm những chiếc áo lông và nhiều phụ kiện thời trang khác. Chính phủ nên ban hành những luật nghiêm khắc lên kẻ trộm mèo. Cuối cùng, mèo là loai đọng vật dễ thương nên nó cần được bảo vệ và gìn giữ khỏi bị bắt và giết trái pháp luật.

My favorite sport is volleyball. I have been passionate about this sport since I was a boy. Growing up, I used to play with my friends after school every hour. Bạn ấy có một đôi mắt to tròn long lanh như hai hòn bi,đôi mắt ấy nhiều lúc khiến cho tôi cảm thấy giật mình vì nó rất đẹp. Mỗi khi được nói về những tạp chí những ngôi sao thù đôi mắt ấy lại sáng bừng lên hạnh phúc. Lan có mái tóc đen nhánh dài đến ngang lưng. Cậu ấy không thích để tóc dài như thế nhưng mẹ bạn ấy lại không cho cắt. Đây là một nỗi bận tâm của nó mà lúc nào nó cũng than phiền về điều đó khiến tôi nhiều lúc muốn cắt ngay mái tóc ấy hộ nó. Nhưng phải công nhận là mái tóc nó đẹp,chẳng hiểu sao nó lại muốn ắt nữa. Cái mũi hơi to là một điều đặc biệt trên gương mặt nó. Đôi môi chúm chím hình trái tim và đỏ mọng khiến tôi phải ghen tỵ. Nó là một đứa con gái khá giản dị không cầu kì không sang chảnh và đó là lí do tôi cũng thấy ấn tượng khi lần đầu tôi nói chuyện với nó.
Tưởng chừng như tình bạn giữa chúng tôi sẽ ngày càng tiến triển thì không bao lâu đó một chuyện đã khiến tình bạn ấy của chúng tôi không còn được thân thiết nữa và chúng tôi không thèm nhìn mặt nhau. Chuyện đó cũng bắt nguồn từ một đứa không hiểu chuyện như tôi. Chuyện bắt đầu vào một lần kiểm tra mười lăm phút môn văn phần tiếng Việt. Tối hôm trước do tôi mải xem phim quá nên tôi không học bài cũ. Khi cô giáo nói cô sẽ kiểm tra nên tôi thấy rất run không biết nên làm sao. Tôi với lên hỏi xem Lan đã học bài chưa thì Lan trả lời là học rồi. Thế là tôi bớt run hơn tôi có thể nhờ vả vào Lan, tôi yên trí đợi Lan làm xong rồi sẽ giúp tôi thôi.
Nhưng trái với suy nghĩ của tôi là nó tuy đã làm xong nhưng vẫn không cho tôi chép. Tôi nghĩ chắc nó quên nên tôi nhắc nó nhưng nó vẫn không có thái độ gì. Cơn tức của tôi khi ấy lên đến đỉnh điểm tôi tức nó và tức cả mình sao lại kết bạn với một đứa không giúp đỡ bạn bè khi bạn gặp khó khăn như. Tôi tức lắm tự nhủ với mình không thèm nói chuyện với nó nữa. Thế là tôi không thèm nói chuyện với nó cho đến một ngày tôi bị ngã gãy chân không thể đi học được. Biết chuyện nó đén nhà tôi nới nguyện làm xe ôm cho tôi. Tôi vẫn chưa nguôi giận bảo nó lúc cần giúp thì không giúp giờ thì đến làm gì. Nó bảo việc gì tốt cho cậu tớ sẽ làm. Nghe đến đây tôi cảm thấy ngại ngùng không dám nói gì. Thế rồi nó bắt chuyện với tôi như hồi chúng tôi mới quen nhau vậy. Dặn mình không được nói chuyện với nó nhưng rồi không biết tại sao tôi tiếp lời nó một cách vô thứ. Một tuần tôi bị gãy chân cũng là một tuồn nó chở tôi di học và đối với tôi đó la những ngày tháng tôi không bao giờ quên được.
Rồi cứ thế dần dần chúng tôi lại nói chuyện bình thường như trước đây. Chúng tôi quên những chuyện cũ không nhắc tới nó nữa. Tôi cũng thầm thấy vui vì mình bị đau chân vì nếu không có chuyện đó thì tôi cũng sẽ không thèm nghe tất cả mọi điều nó nói và đương nhiên chúng tôi cũng sẽ không thể có được một tình cảm thân thiết như bây giờ. Biết tôi bị đau chân nên khó tiếp thu việc học nhanh được cộng thêm việc những buổi đi viện khám lại tôi không lên lớp được nên mỗi buổi chiều nó thường đến nhà tôi để giúp tôi việc học nên chúng tôi càng thân nhau hơn. Càng nghĩ tôi càng cảm thấy mình thật là trẻ con so với nó. Kỉ niệm đó để lại cho cả hai chúng tôi những bài học rất khó quên. Chúng tôi tự hứa với nhau dù sau này có xảy ra chuyện gì đi nữa thì chúng tôi sẽ không bao giờ tránh mặt nhau mà sẽ đối diện để giải quyết mâu thuẫn giữa chúng tôi.

My favourite means of transport is bike. A bike is small, light, and very convenient. I often use it to go to school or for a short trip with my friends. I really like riding my bike because it keeps me healthy and helps me save time. I don’t have to wait for the bus or worry about traffic. Most importantly, riding my bike makes me feel free and relaxed.
