I live in a big city, and my house is not very big since there are only rich people who can afford to live in a spacious house. Every room in my house is just enough for our activities, so we do not have much space for the living room. However, we try our best to decorate it because it is where the whole family gathers after a long day staying outside. We lay down a thick rug on the floor, it both helps to decorate and keep the floor safe from the scratches. To save some space, we put the TV and the loud speakers on the wall. The Play Station, DVD player and other electronic devices are put in a small cabinet in the corner of the room, and we only take them out whenever we want to play something. In the middle of the room is a glass table, we put on the surface a bottle of fresh water and some cups so everyone can have a quick drink before leaving or after coming back to the house. Behind the table is a big white couch, and it can be considered as the biggest thing in the living room. My mother loves the pastel tone, so the walls are painted in cream color; and they all go very well with the couch. We do not have any window there, so we install an air conditioner to keep the atmosphere cool. We hang some pictures of landscape as well as painting on the walls to make the room livelier. There are also a pot of a small plant in the corner of the room, so we can get some fresh air from it. Every night, we would gather to watch TV or sing karaoke, and it is my favorite time of the day. Although the living room is no too big, our family will always have good times there together.

Chúng tôi cũng treo một vài bức tranh phong cảnh cũng như tranh vẽ trên tường để làm căn phòng trông sống động hơn. Trong góc phòng cũng có một chậu cây cảnh nhỏ để chúng tôi có thể có được một chút không khí trong lành từ nó. Mỗi buổi tối, chúng tôi sẽ tụ họp lại để xem TV hoặc hát karaoke; và đó là khoảng thời gian yêu thích nhất của tôi trong ngày. In the corner of the room, this is also the place where I love best because there is a small aquarium. Mother bought so many colorful fishes such as sailfish, carp, ... Every day, I supply them with food so they look so chubby. All members in our family love this room so much, we keep it always clean and neat. In the future, it will definitely be furbished more, becomes more comfortable to welcome the members back home after a stressful day.

2.I am a student, live alone in a small apartment on the 12th floor of a residential area.To me, a beautiful living room is also a bedroom and a dining room. I paint the room pink color so it looks pretty young and warm. Right next to the door of the room, I have put a clothes hook to hang umbrellas, coat and bags. In the middle of the room is a soft brown sofa,it is also a temporary bed for me. There I put a big bear, which is my dear friend, shares with me the sadness or happiness and even loneliness when I feel homesick. In the left corner is a wooden bookcase. I've decorated my bedroom with adorable wallpaper and many lovely stuffed animals. A single bed is placed next to the window so that I can stargaze before falling asleep. In the opposite of the bed are my desk and my bookshelf that contain many kinds of book. There are also an old television and a piano in my bedroom. I especially love the piano because that was the gift from dad in my birthday. In every Christmas or Tet holiday, all member of my family ornament the house together and then gather in the kitchen to cooking. Although my house is not too big but to me that is the most beautiful house in the world.

Đi qua sân là đến căn nhà lớn. Đi qua cánh cửa gỗ là phòng khách rộng rãi với bộ bàn ghế và chiếc ti vi. Ở bàn luôn được trang trí bởi một lọ hoa do mẹ em cắm. Mỗi ngày mẹ đều hái hoa trong vườn rồi đem về cắm trong lọ. Trên tường là những bức ảnh chụp của gia đình em qua thời gian, những chiếc giấy khen của em được đóng khung treo lên cẩn thận. Đi sâu vào bên trong là phòng bếp – nơi mà mẹ nấu những món ăn ngon cho bố con em thưởng thức mỗi ngày. Căn phòng đầy đủ đồ dùng, lúc nào cũng được mẹ em lau dọn sạch sẽ và sáng bóng.

Đi lên cầu thang chính là phòng ngủ của bố mẹ em, phòng ngủ của em và phòng thờ. Phòng ngủ của bố mẹ em khá lớn, bên trong không chỉ có chiếc giường mà còn có tủ quần áo, bàn làm việc của bố em và bàn trang điểm của mẹ em nữa. Phòng của bố mẹ em còn có cửa kính lớn, mở ra là sẽ ra ban công, đứng ở đó là có thể dễ dàng nhìn thấy khu vườn nhỏ tràn ngập hương thơm và sắc màu của mẹ con em.

Phòng ngủ của em thì lại bé hơn vì chỉ có một mình em thôi. Ở góc phòng có một chiếc bàn học xinh in hình Hello Kitty, một chiếc cửa sổ lớn hướng ra ngoài đường phố đông đúc nhộn nhịp. Cuối cùng chính là phòng thờ. Căn phòng này luôn tràn ngập mùi hương trầm, mang không khí trang trọng cổ kính bởi đây là nơi nhà em thờ tổ tiên cùng các vị thần. Mỗi ngày chủ nhật cuối tuần, em đều phụ giúp mẹ dọn dẹp căn nhà cho sạch sẽ. Khi rảnh rỗi, hai mẹ con lại thay đổi vài vật dụng trong nhà để thay đổi cách bài trí cho đẹp hơn.

Em rất yêu căn nhà của mình. Bởi đó là mái ấm, là nơi em lớn lên. Căn nhà không chỉ có ác dụng che mưa che nắng mà còn là nơi cất giữ tình yêu và kỷ niệm gia đình của em, là nơi đón em sau mỗi lần đi xa trở về.

Last Sunday, my class organized a trip to Son Tinh Island camp. We set off at 5 hours and it took us 3 hours to get there. On arrival, everyone was quite excited and happy. That day, the weather was very beautiful, the air here is fresh. On the island there are many stilt houses and swings. We were assigned to build tents. Then, all of us paripated in some amazing games such as cat chasing mouse, hide and seek, ... Everyone was all excited and active. Someone losing must receive fines, that make the cow face. At noon, most people feel hungry, we return to the tent, eat the food prepared from the day before, then, tell stories and sing, take pictures together. In the afternoon, we were cruising by boat. This was the first time I've experienced go on water surface, it feels great. At 5 o'clock, we all had to arrange luggage to come back home. I bought myself some lovely souvenirs. On the way, looking at the island away, I hope that there will be more interesting excursions this.

Chủ nhật tuần trước, lớp mình tổ chức một chuyến đi dã ngoại đến đảo Sơn Tinh camp. Chúng mình xuất phát từ lúc 5 giờ và phải mất 3 tiếng mới đến nơi. Trên đường đi, mọi người đều khá hồi hộp và háo hức. Hôm ấy, trời rất đẹp, không khí trong lành. Trên đảo có rất nhiều nhà sàn và xích đu. Chúng mình được phân công dựng lều. Sau đó, mình tham gia những trò chơi tập thể như mèo đuổi chuột, bịt mắt bắt dê,... Các bạn đều rất hào hứng và thích thú. Một số bạn thua phải chịu phạt, làm mặt con bò rất buồn cười. Hôm ấy, cô giáo còn tổ chức sinh nhật cho một số bạn trong lớp. Đến trưa, đa số mọi người đều cảm thấy đói, chúng mình trở về lều, ăn những thức ăn đã được chuẩn bị sẵn từ hôm trước, sau đó, ngồi kể chuyện và ca hát, chụp ảnh chung. Buổi chiều, chúng mình được dạo biển bằng tàu thủy. Đây là lần đầu mình được trải nghiệm đi trên mặt nước, cảm giác vô cùng tuyệt vời. Đến 5 giờ, mọi người phải thu xếp hành lí để trở về, mình mua được một số món quà lưu niệm nhỏ. Trên đường đi, nhìn bóng hòn đảo xa dần, mình mong rằng sẽ có nhiều hơn nữa những chuyến dã ngoại lí thú như vầy.

My house is the place where I love the best. It’s located in  Phuc Tho District,Ha Noi City. My house is quite wide, its area is approximately 90 square metres. There is a garden in front of my house. The garden brings to my house a natural and peaceful atmosphere. My house has 2 floors and one terrace. Its surface is painted by green and looks very bright and charming. On the first floor, there are three rooms: a living-room, a kitchen and a bathroom. When you come in, the first room you can see is the living-room where my family welcomes guests and relaxes. An ancient sofa and a tea-table with a tea tray on it are arranged quite tidily in the middle of the room. Next to the living room is the kitchen where I love so much because I really cooking for my family. And behind the kitchen is the bathroom, the bathroom are quite clean wide room and very modern. On the second floor, there are two bedrooms: my son’s bedroom and ourS (có “s” đấy nhé. Đại từ sở hữu, ý là our bedroom). There are two windows in each bed room, it provide the light for the room and make the room to be more airy. Especially, my bedroom is quiet, it is an advantage for me when I prepare lessons plan. And another place in my house is the terrace. It has a balcony where my family often sits there to see the sunset and stars in the sky at night. I love my house so much.

My house is in the countryside. It is surrounded by many green trees. In front of my house is a large yard. There are some roses in the yard. Behind my house, there is a very big garden. My grandparents often grow the vegetables and some star-fruit trees. There is a cowshed to the left of the garden. There are two cows in the cowshed. To the left of the house, there is a well. My grandpa use the water in the well to water the vegetables. To the right of the house, there is a river. Every weekend, I sometimes go fishing with my friends. There are five rooms in the house. As I approach the island on which my dream house awaits, I catch a quick

glimpse of it. It is huge, and is the most noticeable building in the area. My

private plane lands on the air strip next to the house. I get out of the plane

and start my journey through a heavily wooded path leading to my dream house.

I walk with anxiety toward the house at which I will spend the rest of my life.

All around me lie the most beautiful trees and plants you have ever seen. It

is peaceful but you can hear the sounds of birds chirping and small forest

creatures frolicking in the under brush. As I continue to walk along the path

the end starts to appear. I now see my house for the first time up close.

Nothing could have prepared me for the moment I was about to experience.


My house that I designed is all I imagined and more. It is a four story

dream on a huge fifteen acre lot. As I approach the stairs at the entrance to

the house I am surrounded by four columns leading to the most elegant doors I

have ever seen. They are made of mahogany and have a stained glass window in

the center. The handles and the frame is made of brass. As I continue around

the house I come across three windows overlooking the entrance to the house.

There are black shutters on each window. As the porch continues to the south

side of the house I am now looking over the Pacific Ocean. A huge eight foot

picture is facing the same way I am. As I look down and observe the ocean I

see two piers jutting out into the Pacific. On either side of the piers are

huge boulders protecting the coast line from erosion. The house's walls are

made of stucco and it has an old fashion shingles that are a clay color.


As I walk into the back yard I am surrounded by the best things a man

could ever want. Well not quite everything! But a lot of things. I walk

toward the road and I first come across a basketball court. To the left of the

basket ball court is a tennis court. There is a bar in between the two to take

a break at between games. On the opposite side of the yard there is an in

ground swimming pool that is connected to the pool inside the house. As my

journey comes to a close I notice a white gazebo off to the east of the house.

It is in a position such that you can see anyone entering or leaving the lot if

you are sitting in it.


As my plane leaves to go home to pack I take one last look at the house.

I think to myself, "Yes this is my dream house, My dream house."
