Nhân vật “tôi” có cảm xúc nóng cả mắt, nước mắt chảy chực trào ra vì sung sướng vì:

Đó là giây phút xúc động mạnh mẽ khi 'tôi' nhận ra tình yêu thương bao la của mẹ.

Lúc đầu, “tôi” tưởng mẹ không quan tâm, không hiểu mình. Nhưng sau khi đọc bức thư mẹ viết, “tôi” mới hiểu rằng mẹ luôn dõi theo, lo lắng, và yêu thương mình rất nhiều, chỉ là mẹ không nói ra.

Còn “nóng cả mắt” và “nước mắt chảy chực trào ra” là dấu hiệu cho thấy nhân vật đang rất xúc động – một niềm hạnh phúc nghẹn ngào.
