Protect Our Environment Together!

Light pollution happens when there is too much artificial light in towns and cities at night. Light pollution also affects animals, especially birds and insects that move or hunt using natural light. To reduce light pollution, communities can use softer lights and turn off lamps when they are not needed. 1. In October 2025, a big flood happened in Central Vietnam after many days of heavy rain. The flood lasted for weeks, and the highest recorded rainfall is in Bach Ma, reaching nearly 1,740 milimetres. Many families had to move to safer places because their homes were filled with water.

2. During the flood, rescue teams worked day and night to help people in danger. They used boats to bring food, drinking water, and medicine to the affected areas. Although the weather was bad, everyone tried their best so that no one was left behind. Sadly, many people lost their lives and went missing.

3. As of November 5th, about 11,000 hectares of rice and other crops were damaged, and over 70,000 homes were destroyed, so life was still challenging. However, the local authorities promised to help families repair their homes and restart their work. Over 400 billion dong were raised to support flood victims during the 2025 Autumn Fair.
