Good morning. Today, I’d like to share with you about the solutions to one of the most significant problems in our city - deforestation. Firstly, the problem can be solved by recycling paper, plastics, and wood products. My next point is introducing strict laws to prevent the cutting of natural forests. Another solution is to educate our friends, family, and community by sharing the deforestation facts, and its causes and effects. That’s the end of our presentation today. Hello everybody. This Saturday we're all going on a trip to an ancient village just outside the city and I'd just like to give you some information about the trip. We're leaving from here at 8.30 in the morning. It's an 8-hour trip so we'll probably be back at 4.30 p.m. We're going to visit three of the most famous attractions in the village. The first one is a large ancient house. It was built 600 years ago and its architecture is very impressive. After that we're going to have lunch with a local family. The family is going to prepare the most delicious locally made food for us and I'm sure we'll enjoy it. I think we'll stay there about 45 minutes. Then we're going to walk to the third attraction - the village pagoda. It's one of the oldest and biggest pagodas in the country and is surrounded by different types of trees. We can walk around the pagoda and learn about its interesting history. The pagoda is very beautiful so you can take some excellent photographs there. So don't forget to bring your camera with you. And remember: Don't drop litter or pick flowers on the roadside while you are visiting the places.

Speaker 1. I love the UK. I just love the atmosphere, the culture, the art, the history. There is also beautiful scenery in places like Cornwall and Scotland. The people here are kind and friendly. The only things I don't like about the UK are the weather and the food. I had some really bad fish and chips recently!

Speaker 2. British people don't care about their work like we do. They aren't very hard-working really - they spend all day waiting to finish work and go home! And when they leave work, they forget about it. I have my own café here in Cardiff and for me, my work is my life.

Speaker 3. I find British people very friendly and I love an English breakfast and fish and chips. But I don't like it when I finish work at 11 p.m. or midnight, and young people are causing trouble in the street. It's not always nice and they make a lot of noise. I don't worry for me but I'm anxious for my wife at night over here. Overall though I like living in Britain. It's much better than back home.

Speaker 4. OK, the weather definitely is not great but I love the freedom of living in the UK. It's so friendly and welcoming. It was difficult for me when I first arrived at the age of sixteen. I was used to rules. My family came first and I always obeyed my parents. I never answered back. But British teenagers have so much more freedom. They don't have many rules, and that's not always a good thing. They often behave badly.
