There are so many different ways to practice English, sometimes it’s hard to know where to start.
This is why Cambridge English, part of the University of Cambridge, has developed Learning English. It has everything you need, all in one place and for free.
There are lots of short, interactive activities to help you practice and improve your English. Each activity focuses on a different language skill, such as reading, writing, listening, pronunciation, grammar or vocabulary.
The activities are all designed for use on mobile devices, so you can practice English at home or on the go, making use of even a few spare minutes. Make it a habit to practice English regularly, by doing a short 5-10 minute activity every day. Learning ‘little and often’ is more effective than occasional intensive study.
It’s important to find learning activities at the right level. If an activity is far too difficult, it can be demoralizing. However, if you stay in your comfort zone, your progress will be slower.
You can check your level of English by doing a short, multiple-choice test. Then choose the right practice activities at your target level: Independent (CEFR level B1-B2) or Proficient (CEFR level C1-C2).

Nowadays, English is used in many country and recognized the main language. Each person has different way to study English. To study English well, I often do grammar exercises in grammar books anytime, listen to the program on the radio anhd E tapes to improve my listening and sometimes I also listen E songs and sing them. In addition, I always write E as much as possible and learn by heart all newwords anhd texts to be able to remember mỏe words. To ỉmprove my speaking, I speak E with my friends anywhere and anytime. Beside, I sometime watch E ( enghlish) program on TV, read short stories or newpapers in E, use a distionary for reading to study E effectively.
There once was a speedy Hare who bragged about how fast he could run. Tired of hearing him boast, the Tortoise challenged him to a race. All the animals in the forest gathered to watch.
The Hare ran down the road for a while and then paused to rest. He looked back at the tortoise and cried out, "How do you expect to win this race when you are walking along at your slow, slow pace?"
The Hare stretched himself out alongside the road and fell asleep, thinking, "There is plenty of time to relax."

I spent my summer holiday with my family in Da Nang for 3 days. That was really great days for me. On the first day, we had a trip to Ba Na Hills. The atmosphere was very fresh, it made me feel good. We visited many places such as Fantasy Park, Debay Cellar, French Village, etc.
On the second day, we went to visit My Son Sanctuary and go swimming in the afternoon. Da Nang beach is very pure and the scene is really beautiful. So I took many nice pictures.
And on the last day, we just walked around the town, enjoy some delicious dishes of Da Nang such as bun Quang, banh trang thit heo, etc and bought some souvenirs. I have a great gift for you. I will send your gift and the beautiful pictures that I took for you.
I really had a great time with my family. Da Nang is a wonderful place and people in here are friendly. I think this is a place I shall never forget. So how is your summer vacation? Write to me and tell me about it.

The ugly duckling Once upon a time there was a little mother duck. She was excited. Her five eggs were finally going to hatch. She watched and counted as one by one the eggs hatched. "One duckling, two ducklings, three, four, five ducklings", she said happily. Suddenly she noticed that there was one more egg. It was bigger and whiter than the rest. "This cannot be my egg", she thought. Slowly the big egg began to crack and the strange looking duckling came up. Mother duck was surprised. The younger duckling was great and bigger than the rest. "How ugly the little one is", she thought. As the day went by, the ducklings began to grow, but the younger duckling looked different from the rest. Everybody looked at him and said, "There goes the ugly duckling". His brothers, sisters teased him all the time. The ugly duckling felt very bad. Whenever people laughed at him, he used to run away and hide behind the reeds near the lake. "Nobody loves me", he thought. One day, the duckling decided to run away from home. "You wish to attend the ball, is that not so?" "Y-es," cried Cinderella, between sobs. The fairy godmother smiled and said, "Well, run into the garden and bring me a pumpkin." Cinderella immediately went to get the finest pumpkin she could find. When she brought it, her godmother struck the pumpkin with her wand, instantly turning it into a fine coach, plated with gold and silver. Next, she had Cinderella find some mice and when she brought the furry creatures back the fairy godmother tapped them each with her wand, turning them into six fine horses and a coachman. "Well what do you say?" asked her godmother. "Oh, yes!" cried Cinderella, "but should I go looking like this, in these rags?" Her godmother only touched her with her wand and instantly Cinderella’s rags turned into a dress of while and silver, sparking with jewels. To top of it, fairy godmother gave Cinderella a pair of glass slippers, the prettiest in the whole world. "The spell only lasts until midnight, so promise you will leave the ball before then," warned the Godmother. Cinderella promised to return before midnight, thanked her again and drove off to the ball. When Cinderella made her entrance, the dancing and music stopped as everyone turned to gazed at her beauty. No one recognized her, she was a complete mystery. The Prince rushed up to greet her, led her to the most honorable seat by his side and later took her out for a dance. Cinderella even made time to approach her step-sisters, who still did not recognize her and shared some of the oranges the prince had presented to her as a gift. The Prince never left her side, and Cinderella was enjoying herself so much that she completely forgot the time! When the clock struck midnight, Cinderella was shocked and fled immediately, leaving one of her glass slippers behind in her haste. The Prince ran to follow her, but only managed to pick up the glass slipper she left behind. Cinderella managed to get home, but was quite out of her breath and in her dirty old clothes. She was resting in bed when her two step-sisters stumbled into her room. "You stayed really late!" cried Cinderella, rubbing her eyes and stretching as if she had been sleeping. "If you had been there you would have seen the most beautiful princess," exclaimed the eldest sister, "she was so nice to us and had the undivided attention of the Prince." "Her background is a mystery and the Prince would give anything to know who she was," said the youngest. A few days later the Prince declared that he would marry the woman whose foot fit in the slipper. His solider began to try the slipper on all the princesses and duchesses in the Court, it was all in vain. Days later, it was brought to the two sisters who tried with all their might to make the slipper fit. Cinderella, who saw this, politely asked to try it. Her sister burst out laughing at the idea, but the Prince ordered that everyone in the kingdom should have a try. When Cinderella’s foot slid perfectly into the slipper, her sisters were astonished. Cinderella’s fairy godmother appeared and with the flick of her wand turned Cinderella into the beautiful girl from the ball. The step-sisters dropped to their knees and begged for forgiveness for the awful way they treated her over the years. Cinderella lifted them up and embraced them, saying she forgave them with all her heart. Cinderella was then escorted to the Prince, dressed as beautiful as she was at the ball. A few days later they were married. Cinderella who was no less good than beautiful, gave her two sisters rooms in the palace, and everyone lived happily ever after.
