Hanoi is located in the center of the Northern Delta with a population 2.9 million people, and an area 920.97 km2. It is the traffic clue of the road way, water way, rail way and air way from Hanoi to other provinces of Vietnam as well as to other countries in region and over the world. Hanoi is becoming the important economic and international transaction center of the whole country. Hanoi city is keeping the high pace of economic growth, stable polial-social security. -  Hanoi is gathered with the intellectual human resources which is accounted for  62 % of the whole country science and management cadres who gained university certificate, professors, masters and are living and working in Hanoi.

-  Hanoi citizens’ standards of culture and working skills are rather high. They are able the modern technology and management in very short time. The labor cost in Hanoi is reasonable.

-  The Hanoi market potential is big. The Hanoi market also influences to other northern provinces all country, south of China, Laos…

-  The electricity and water supply to enterprises are good and stable.

- The administration procedures to grant the Investment License for projects (especially the industrial project) are executed easily, conveniently and fast

- The expenses such as social services, property and land rental, water and electricity are lower than other trade centers in Vietnam (especially the land rental is 25% off as compared with the price in the past).

- Taxes are in favor, especially the Industrial projects and specially encouraging investment projects.

To become an industrial city, a modern capital which can be compared with other capitals and large cities in region up to the year 2010, Hanoi authority has issued the General Master Plan to develop the Capital Economy and Society to the year 2010, use to maximum the local potential and make good use of foreign capital resources such as FDI, ODA… to develop the City basic economic standards from 2 to 2.5 times until 2010. It is hoped that the Hanoi future achievements and results are helped importantly from the foreign investors.

Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is known for its centuries-old architecture and a rich culture with Southeast Asian, Chinese and French influences. At its heart is the chao Old Quarter, where the narrow streets are roughly arranged by trade. There are many little temples, including Bach Ma, honoring a legendary horse, plus Đong Xuan Market, selling household goods and street food.Ha Noi is the country's second largest city by population. The population in 2015 was estimated at 7.7 million people. The city lies on the right bank of the Red River. Hanoi is 1,760 km (1,090 mi) north of Ho Chi Minh City and 120 km (75 mi) west of Hai Phong city.

From 1010 until 1802, it was the most important polial centre of Vietnam. It was eclipsed by Huế, the imperial capital of Vietnam during the Nguyễn Dynasty (1802–1945). In 1873 Hanoi was conquered by the French. From 1883 to 1945, the city was the administrative center of the colony of French Indochina. The French built a modern administrative city south of Old Hanoi, creating broad, perpendicular tree-lined avenues of opera, churches, public buildings, and luxury villas, but they also destroyed large parts of the city, shedding or reducing the size of lakes and canals, while also clearing out various imperial palaces and citadels.

From 1940 to 1945 Hanoi, as well as the largest part of French Indochina and Southeast Asia, was occupied by the Japanese. On September 2, 1945, Ho Chi Minh proclaimed the Democra Republic of Vietnam (North Vietnam). The Vietnamese National Assembly under Ho Chi Minh decided on January 6, 1946, to make Hanoi the capital of the Democra Republic of Vietnam. From 1954 to 1976, it was the capital of North Vietnam, and it became the capital of a reunified Vietnam in 1976, after the North's victory in the Vietnam War.

October 2010 officially marked 1,000 years since the establishment of the city. The Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mural is a 6.5 km ceramic mosaicmural created to mark the occasion.

The Vietnam War helped to unfairly saddle Hanoi with a reputation as a dour outpost for Communist apparatchiks. It may not be as chao as Saigon, but Hanoi ranks among the world's most attractive and interesting cities. The city's placid air gives it a gracious, almost regal flavor, underscored by a rich history that traces back more than a thousand years -- a fascinating heritage on display in well-preserved centuries-old architecture. Hanoi is Vietnam's cultural center, and puppetry, music, and dance performances are well worth your time.

The quintessential Hanoi neighborhood and the oldest area in town, the Old Quarter is a maze of streets dating back to the 13th century. The Old Quarter's Communal Houses were set up by guilds as small temples to honor a local god -- the Bach Ma, or White Horse, who represents the city itself. Another sightseeing highlight is the Temple of Literature -- a sanctuary of Confucianism and Vietnam's seat of learning for almost a thousand years.

Hanoi is the best place to experience traditional Vietnamese arts such as opera, theater, and water puppetry, shows that feature traditional music and depict Vietnamese folklores and myths. The city also has a variety of pleasant little watering holes. For a vivid taste of local street life, Hanoi style, pull up a little plas squat stool on a street corner or in one of the many cozy, open-air bars serving the local brew bia-hoi.

It's hard to have a bad meal in Hanoi. Hanoi's finest local food is served at small, one-dish restaurants, usually just open-air joints at street-side, where you might wonder why a line is snaking out the door. The ubiquitous pho -- noodle soup served with slices of beef (bo) or chicken (ga), fresh bean sprouts and condiments -- can be found anywhere. And don't miss cha ca, Hanoi's famed spicy fish fry-up.

Dozens of small, serene lakes dotted about Hanoi offer transport to tranquility amid the city bustle. In the morning, the circumference walkway encircling Hoan Kiem Lake becomes a training camp, with locals working up a sweat performing tai chi or calisthenics. Otherwise, walking is the best way to tour the winding passages of the Old Quarter. More intrepid souls bike around town to beat the chao traffic -- most hotels have a cycle to rent.

The capital city of Viet Nam – Ha Noi is known as the city of the lake, a beautiful and peaceful city with super friendly citizens. In this arle, I will not remind you about these must-visit places in Ha Noi where many travelers and journalisst wrote about. I want to write about the reasons which make Ha Noi to be the unique city in Asian. It’s a lively and colorful lifestyle here.

As i’ve had opportunity to visit some cities in other countries, I found out Ha Noi has a very crazy traffic jam system which would terrify tourists for their first time. I know for many tourists, Ha Noi road traffic is a big risk, but after they get acquainted, you will realize that the road traffic has its own law. Once you take the leap, the only way is just go ahead and the other transports on it will give way not to crash into you.

Hanoi’s drinking street shop is also 1 of the most interesting things for tourists. Nothing is easier to find than the drinking street shop. The most popular drinks here are ice tea, lemon tea and bia hoi ( unpasteurized beer made fresh daily ). Every shop is very simple with plas chairs in the sidewalk, drinks, and sometime paired with some food, but we can sit there for hours without being bored. It’s also a very good place to make friends. Of course there’re many nice coffee that you can enjoy with some air con and a nice view, but if you ask 100 Hanoian, 90 will answer that they prefer the street shop because it’s kind of our culture.

ha noi is capital of VN. It has the second largest area after hcm city. This city consists of 7742,200 Ha Noi people located between the rich Red River Delta, which soon became a polial, economic and cultural center right from the early days of Vietnamese history. In 1010, King Ly Thai To, the first emperor of the Ly, decided to build a new capital in this land with the name Thang Long. During the period of the Ly, Tran, Le, Mac dynasty, Thang Long was the center of culture, education and trade of the country. When Tay Son and the Nguyen came to power, the capital was moved to Hue and Thang Long began naming Hanoi in 1831, under the reign of Minh Mang. At present, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City are two important socio-economic centers of Vietnam

Đề 1:Write about your favourite TV programme.

As a senior high school student, I am very busy with my studies. Although I am very fond of watching television, I can only spend an hour after dinner on my hobby. Of all the TV programs, I like the news and documentaries best.

The news programs shown on all TV channels at 7:00 p.m. help me to know almost everything about different places in our country and important events happening all over the world. Through these programs, I can also know about the main national and international sporting events.

The documentary programs at weekends are my favorites. By watching them, I can learn a great deal about human civilizations, the wonders of nature and the amazing inventions and discoveries of great people in the world.

Watching television is my hobby. I cannot imagine a day in my life without watching it.

Đề 2:Write about your favourite sport.

My favorite sport is football. In America people called it Soccer. But I like to call it Football. It has been my favorite sport almost for 10 years, when I was 15 years old, and it still is, even though I’m not practicing it anymore. Nowadays, most of people in the world like football,so it is called the king of sports. Why do people like it? I think the most reason is it easy to play. You can play football every where if you just have a ball with the right size. Not only men play football but also women can play. There is the World Champion for men players each 4 years, and for Women as well. In addition, football have a big attraction. When World cup took place, a large number of millions people watched it on TV and saw it directly. Now there are many football club in each country, even district, school in the world. In the football today there are much more money involved, especially in sponsors. But player also cost a lot, There are many players as C.Ronaldo, Beckham, Zidane who cost over 50 million euro, even over 100 million euro. Many big and famous club have large stadiums with alot of fan in all over the world. They can get a great number of billion US dollar from broadcasting copywrite every year and a big avenue from sponsors and advertising. That prove the attration of football. To me, I like football because it's a useful, healthful, collective but competitive sport. I like overenthusiastic air on stadium on each match. Anyways football always is the most favorite sport of mine.

I was born on Hanoi where is the capital of Vietnam, and the country's largest city.

The city is located on the right bank of red river.

the old quarter, near Hoan Kiem lake has original street lay out and architecture of old Hanoi. At begining of the 20th century the city consisted of only about 36 streets. Each street then had merchants and households specialized in a parular trade such as silk, traders, jewelry, etc. The street names nowadays still reflect the specialization, although few of the remain exclusive in their original commerce. The area is famous for its small artisans and merchant, including many silk shops. local cuisine specialties, as well as several clubs, and bars can be found here also. a night market in the heart of the district opens for business every friday, saturday, and sunday evening with variety of clothing, souvenirs and food

Driving test is mandatory for everybody to pass before joining traffic. Somebody has suggested that people must take the test again every 5 years to ensure their driving abilities and a better traffic. This is a good idea but it still has negative effects on a certain group of people.

On the one hand, if people retake their driving test once 5 years, it will have good impact on the traffic. Firstly, it is a chance for everybody to check their driving level after a long period of time. Therefore, they can control their vehicles better and decrease accidents for them and others. Secondly, people can update their knowledge of traffic law, so they will not do anything illegally related traffic. Thirdly, the action will reject anybody who does not meet the driving standard after 5 years. Thanks to this, the level of drivers will be upgraded and ensure traffic’s safety of everybody in the society.

On the other hand, retaking driving test is not a good idea with somebody. It can cost a large sum of money to get a new driving license. If they fail the test, they will meet difficulties in travelling and working. Besides, it can be unnecessary many people who do not use cars as the main mean of transport. Because they can use public transportation instead of car, so they are not need to take this test.

In conclusion, retaking driving test every 5 years is a solution to improve the traffic but it should aim to appropriate candidates. This will help decrease traffic accidents and save money for many people.

Vietnam's recorded history stretches back to the mid-to-late 3rd century BCE, when Âu Lạc and Nanyue(Nam Việt in Vietnamese) were established (Nanyue conquered Âu Lạc in 179 BCE).[1] Pre-historic Vietnam was home to some of the world's earliestcivilizations and societies—making them one of the world's first people who praced agriculture.[2][3][better source needed] The Red Rivervalley formed a natural geographic and economic unit, bounded to the north and west by mountains and jungles, to the east by the sea and to the south by theRed River Delta. According to myth the first Vietnamese state was founded in 2879 BC,[4][5][6] but archaeological studies suggest development towards chiefdoms during the late Bronze Age Đông Sơn culture.

Vietnam's peculiar geography made it a difficult country to attack, which is why Vietnam under the Hùng kings was for so long an independent and self-contained state. Once Vietnam did succumb to foreign rule, however, it proved unable to escape from it, and for 1,100 years, Vietnam had been successively governed by a series of Chinese dynasties: the Han, Eastern Wu, Jin, Liu Song,Southern Qi, Liang, Sui, Tang, and Southern Han; leading to the loss of native cultural heritage, language, and much of national identity. At certain periods during these 1,100 years, Vietnam was independently governed under the Triệus, Trưng Sisters, Early Lýs, Khúcs and Dương Đình Nghệ—although their triumphs and reigns were temporary.

During the Chinese domination of North Vietnam, several civilizations flourished in what is today central and south Vietnam, parularly the Funanese andCham. The founders and rulers of these governments, however, were not native to Vietnam. From the 10th century onwards, the Vietnamese, emerging in their heartland of the Red River Delta, began to conquer these civilizations.

When Ngô Quyền (King of Vietnam, 939–944) restored sovereign power in the country, the next millennium was advanced by the accomplishments of successive dynasties: Ngôs, Đinhs, Early Lês, Lýs,Trầns, Hồs, Later Trầns, Later Lê, Mạcs, Trịnhs,Nguyễns, Tây Sơn and again Nguyễns. At various points during the imperial dynasties, Vietnam was ravaged and divided by civil wars and witnessed interventions by the Songs, Mongol Yuans, Chams,Mings, Siam, Manchus, French.

The Ming Empire conquered the Red River valley for a while before native Vietnamese regained control and the French Empire reduced Vietnam to a French dependency for nearly a century, followed by an occupation by the Japanese Empire. Polial upheaval and Communist insurrection put an end to the monarchy after World War II, and the country was

The Vietnamese people from ancient times have many precious traditions preserved and handed down. These traditions are the tradition of fighting the enemy
the tradition of filial piety in labor, filial traditions with parents and grandparents, traditions of gratitude, tradition of studiousness. I feel very proud of the tradition of fighting the enemy from the time she displayed her million, the heroic ... Our people have the power of unity and patriotism to expel the enemy. Many people have fallen for the peace of our lives today. Therefore, we need to study well to build the country more and more beautiful and never forget the gratitude of the previous generation.
